Deployment? I'm going in the Ohio  National Guard and will be deployed to Lima Ohio as a cook
But I'll be an E6 and I only need 3 years to retire but am enlisting for 6.  Since every year adds to retirment I think this time I will stay intill they throw me out.

Thanks for your support.  I would not mind being deployed or being full time but I don't think it is going to happen but I'll take what I have and be grateful for the chance to fix one of the major blunders of my life.  I never planned on staying out 14 years. (I failed the hearing in 2001 but passed this time around)

Congratulations and best wishes. I hope it works out well for you and that you reach retirement safe and happy.

Do you think they'll let you take a few days off for Origins? I'm guessing they won't let you back out on leave so soon - if so we'll miss ya but be glad for you at the same time.

Hi, I'll be at Origins. Bear might give me a ride but no matter how I'll be there.  I'm joining the national Guard. I don't have to go to boot camp (been there done that)

Ft Lee Virginia is where Quartermaster "spoon" training is.
Man is it hot and miserable there in summer.[:D]

You'll love the Petersburg Battlefield, it's only a few hundred yards from the barracks.
I ran the battlefield "every" afternoon after training.
Virginia Beach on the weekends. Very "HOT" babes all over the place.
Oysters and Long Necked Buds while you sit at the beach wishing you were 21 again.[:D]

Get in shape, or you'll do remedial PT every afternoon till they get that gut of yours back where it belongs.[:D]

I did my Rigger Training back there in "91".[;)]

Since you're going to be in the Quartermaster's now, remember this.
The Quartermaster's are so far down from the tip of the spear, you'll get the shaft more.[;)]
