Somewhat minor valid points maybe. However, he doesn't need to post it in a thread that was not intended to discuss that issue, He's trolling and using an inappropriate thread to do so. Yes my post was harsh ugly and brutish. However, the thread had lost it's point a small thread argument. What I really should have said was please take your point to an appropriate thread.
As to the merchandise. Matrix I want a beer stein!

I would have to agree with him somewhat. It can become very frustrating after 10+ years waiting for a game.
Matrix has release dates on games posted on other sites, MWiF is not one of them. It's sort of like "Duke Nukem - Forever" release date "When its done".
It's the same for all of us. I too have been waiting this game for aeons.
The way I found to have the time pass more sweetly, is to help as much as I can about the project. Get involved and do things I like doing, to make the game advance faster and be better.
Complaining about missed released dates is not constructive. I for one would give absolutely no release date if asked. It will be out "when it is done" [;)].

well, I'd still like a beer mug, and the chance to buy a pint for Steve. Maybe it's time to call Rodger MacGowan?

- I could say that Matrix Games probably do not really want to make this game available for a lot of reasons that I could not write onto this post.
Oh sweet Jesus, a conspiracy theory,
Steve has tax issues and needs to delay income
David Heath has heard from the Beta testers China will win
Matrix has a quota on releases per year
Harry Rowland will not allow the game to be published until the Nurses in Flames Video is out
You pick...

Ok everyone take a deep breath and try to be grown-ups.
A flame war does nothing but make everyone defensive and say things that bring us all down.
This thread needs a moderator to put an end to this discussion. For peets sake, we just want a beer stein that says something like "MWIF brought to you by Matrix Games and Shannon O'Keets."
Stop with the negativity already. M'kay? Shannon doesn't need a team of people defending him. The huge percentage of us are 100% behind him and wouldn't be participating in this forum if we weren't. My gut tells me Shannon isn't going to have his bubble broken by one naysayer whining on the forum.
Props to Shannon for tolerating this. He could have simply deleted posts. My suspicion is that he has an open mind, and just might take negative critcism as well as he takes positive (with a grain of salt).
Don't belabour yourself responding to negativism. Ignoring it is much more disarming as a means to combatting it.

[:-]Werwolf get a life and please quit trolling. All we see from you is your shallow attitude and even poorer attempt at a personality. Please crawl back under your rock and quit trying to sun your serpent attitude in a forum thread that only was a small attempt at having some merchandise released. If it was up to morons like you all software would be released way too soon so you could claim it is full of bugs amd holes. So obviously you have no life and only feel that you need to upset apple carts and bang away with a lot of noise. See this for what it is a shallow attempt to take your pathetic life and give it justification. If I get banned for being honest about you then that will be the prioce for standing up for what is right and not for what is wrong. In another time and place you would be just another petty thug or worse. Please, get a life.
Remember that I expressed my opinions, such mostly happen in a free world and I did not offend anyone........can you say that to?
This is called politeness, civilization, culture, tolerance.......
And now I that I am more open to discussion then all of you I keep my promise -tell what you want- but I will be silent till Christmas.
I am conforted that what I have expressed is not only my opinions but those ones of a lot of MWiF fans that at this point probably would not buy the game even
if released tomorrow

Finally, some good news! What are you going to do if the game is not released by then? Throw another tantrum?

Well that'll learn 'em! You'll show your disappointment that you don't have the game by not buying the game. [8|]

I know "Nurses in Flames" is just a joke but the United States owes a huge debt to the women who took up the slack in World War II.
My mother was a "Rosie the Riveter". For those unfamiliar with the term, that means she worked at a defense plant riveting bombers together.
I have also met one of the women who ferried the bombers to England. She had the photos and medals to prove it. And she was honored by the local VFW's.
Enough praise cannot be given for the aid and comfort given by the WAC's and WAVE's during the war. Don’t forget the "Doughnut Dollies" of the Red Cross.
If you get the chance watch the movie about Marlene Dietrich and find out how close she went to the front lines just to entertain the troops.
There are amazing things that the women did in World War II.

I read that the video for NiF has been shot and is now beginning post production editing.
There are quite a few CGI effects to be added and cleaned up so I would expect it to be released as a bundle with MWiF.
Package rates will be available for the MWif, NiF & a beer stein bundle.
I'm in! [:D]

Darn, should have copyrighted NiF or at least asked for a free copy...

I go away for 2 days, and you all have managed it so Dave has me scheduled to direct a video?
As I understand it, the nurses are suppose to catch fire which is then put out by MWIF players dowsing them with steins of beer. Stills from the video will be used to generate some wet tee-shirt images for promoting MWIF.
P.S. My accountant says NiF is sure to lose money and will serve as a huge tax write-off for me.

Speilberg's accountant said "Star Wars" would never sell ... Dump your accountant ... [:D]
And don't forget to start practicing your signature for the steins.

They certainly did! There wasn't much that was "slack" when female-starved soldiers finally saw a woman.
If you get the chance watch the movie about Marlene Dietrich and find out how close she went to the front lines just to entertain the troops.
Apparently she thought it was her duty to...ahem..."entertain" as many of the troops as possible. Good girl. That's was of tangible benefit to the war effort!
Yup. The women during the war years were incredibly tough and courageous. Imagine flying a bomber, which may or may not have a few bugs in it, across the Atlantic, often in atrocious conditions and without modern navigation instruments. And then turn around and do it again and again. Impressive stuff.
