Final thoughts

The plan went spectacularly well , casualties a tad on the high side , but hey we didn t have much to work with.

Commonwealth troops performed really well , not the best soldiers on the field but always quick to recover after taking a beating. Calm and composure under pressure.

Germans didn t try hard enough i was so paranoid about flanking that i left the centre very sparsely defended.

I m not sure about the ressuply snafu , i m really going to have to dig into these new supply rules.

A note on resupply. The normal allocation for arty is 45 minutes of fire at normal rate of fire per day. That's just 4.5 bombardments. Don't expect that you can fire your arty all day. It won't happen.

i m going to play it again , but i m pretty sure arty ammo was a one time deal in this scenario.

There could be many reasons for no resupply. Were your Base units deployed - they need to be to despatch supplies. Were they threatened by enemy ( ie within 3000m )? What were the likely routes between the Bases and their units like - threatened by enemy firepower?
