Sorry, I'm not explaining this very well. Ignore the issue of an .MD file. Assume a correct one is in place, and all rail squares for the Soviets begin a SL6. Now pick a rail line coming from the eastern map edge and cut it off from the rest of the rail net. It goes to SL0 (depending on how close other rail lines are). If everything is working, the rail will start recovering supply (rail conversion) from the map edge to the point of the break. The function that does this has the places this occurs at hardwired in the .exe. So the locations I mentioned from your map, will not act like a supply source. If you break this line from the rest of the rail net, no conversions occur from the map edge moving into the map up to the break. The rail square adjacent to the map edge is just an ordinary square, not designated by the game as a supply source.

It seems that I also explain not perfectly

The point is that the event you've just described above happens if you load new map with new railroad net and have no upgraded *.md file. Game looks at *.md file, recalculates supply at the begining of turn and rails which have SL less than 6(4?) become "broken" creating many cuttings. So, most of the rail net can become cut off from supply sources. Do I miss something? Thanx!

This is all true, but in addition, even with a correct *.md file, those rail squares on the eastern map edge won't act as supply sources unless hardwired in the wir.exe file. This is what happened when we installed the new map, Arnuad had to update the *.exe with the new/moved supply sources to make it work right.
Use your map and corrected .md file then cutoff one of your new/moved rail lines that leads to the map edge and a square that wasn't a supply source in the original map.
