Many  states like NY,MA,MS and PA are a few of them that have the law that if an item goes on sale within 30 days in a store of purchase you can  get an adjustment and the law goes for all retail places in these states.
But what is worse is your wife finding out that the price was cut in half 2 weeks after she bought it. [&:]

BIG PAPA GIL

I dont think there is a law that says they have to give you a price adjustment. It just depends on the store's return policy. If they have a 30 day return policy, then they give you the adjustment if it goes on sale within 30 days. Otherwise you could just return the item, get a refund, and repurchase it at the discount price.

Must be so, I would think "midnight" friday would be about 1/2 hour ago. I guess not. I was gonna run a test sim tonight. [:(]

I am going to buy the game while on sale. I was not going to buy it at full price. I have OOTP 6.5 and love that game and played a few seasons earlier this summer, and though Puresim looked great, too, I just didn't feel like paying the full price.

As for being upset about the sale, I cannot even recall all the times I've bought an item and then found it was on sale. This happens all the time in the physical world, so why not in the cyber world?

Is this for digital download orders only? What about PC physical shipments?

Yeah, I'd think so, since Matrix is located in NYC.

I'm downloading now.  Wow, this thing is huge.  165M and only getting 39.3k/sec.

Purchased the game myself, but used a money order - will have to wait for the instructions when I receive the email.  165MB that is a monster.....

I think I read somewhere that when you order the game you get 2 licenses so you can run the game on 2 computers. Is this true? Does this still apply with the discounted price?

Fresh opinions and new blood is always good

I bought the game last week & I really enjoy it, so far I'm 4-5 with my 1980 Montreal Expos 2 games behind the St-L Cards in NL East.
I'm a former player of Tony LaRussa games, Baseball mogul 99, OOTP3 / 4 / 5 & 6.5.
I stopped playing this game (OOTP) since Markus has joined SI, I'm not here for badmouth this game but I'll never understand this decision... Anyway, I'm glad to discovered this new great game called PureSim.
Great job Shaun & a special thanks to Padres Fans & Beach Boys for your Add-ons, I really appreciate.
Long life to PureSim Baseball

BTW a question from a newbie :
I'm in 1980' season & I would like to know how the game will generate or how can I add new teams like the Marlins & Rockies in 1993 & fix the new League realignment.
Thanks in advance

I downloaded the demo yesterday and got hooked fast. Bought the game via download, very happy with it, and the price cut didn't hurt either...

You need to enable expansion in the Association Options. After free agency you will prompted if you want to expand the league. Before the 1993 season you will expand. I know you can realign the league, but I haven't done it.

Really enjoyed OOTP 6.51, couldn't get on with OOTP2006 at all, just bought PureSim and it looks very good indeed.
