The kind of amusing part at least is everytime he trolls it seems to go up in face **poof**. If you're going to post links to like scenarios at Dr. Who's archives (who btw has absolutely no affiliation with Herman) at least make sure the files are there/linked/whatever. Stop trolling, do something positive and respect good people that have helped the game (like Dr. Who).

As before, a little less complaining and little more testing will prevent the recurrence of broken scenarios being posted. [;)]
To recap, your initial post linked to a site where the scenario did not appear for the majority of us. I understand after our intervention you corrected this.
I don't recall any broken scenario's being posted by us. I don't recall any of us stating what we thought of scenario's hosted by yourself.
Nevertheless you persist with the view that broken scenario's are being posted.
<< snip >>
The only re-cap that matters is this:
RORSat and
Georgia Knights are broken.
One cannot be won, at all. This means that anyone who plays it is going to wonder why he hasn't achieved victory after following the orders and completing his mission.
Kind of frustrating to play a bunch of hours only to find out that Victory was never possible. [;)]

I think you may have missed the replies in respect of both those. Going over the same ground rubbishing scenarios posted by HHQ doesn't make sense to me, especially as the policy on retesting has been explained to you.
We don't do the same with your scenarios and do not understand your obsessive compulsion to do the same with ours.
The point you seem to have overlooked is that people are genuinely baffled by your post.
You suggest that we play two scenarios Linchpin Blue and Operation Babylon.
I have clicked and frankly reclicked a number of times on the sites you link to, and reread your posts. The closest files I can see are listed as Linchpin 2 and Babylon.
They aren't exact name matches but most people would assume these are the referred to files. I am honestly not clear if these are the precise files you wanted us to look at.
Babylon is I think the old scenario rebuilt and hosted on harpoon HQ here ?
http://www.harpoonhq.com/harpoon3/scenarios/
Linchpin 2 is marked as "Pulled due to copyright question".
I think you are actually overlooking the fact that people do not know what your intention is by posting these , or whether in fact these are the files you refer to?

Should be alright be 3.7.1. It was a game bug that causes the VC problem. If you look in the VC dialog you'll see an extra level that really shouldn't be there (that is reading a 3.6 file in 3.7). So not really a sore point with anybody[;)] Do find it odd that you took the opportunity to smash others rather than report a bug but par for the course with you thus far.
Anyways...
Its about giving AGSI and Matrix the time they need to get things straight and not giving them a hard time. It's also kind of nice to help them find bugs etc. We'll do some updates when its time. Day jobs get in the way too....right[:D]

LINCHPIN BLUE
UNITED STATES VS SOVIETS
LOCATION : NORTH ATLANTIC
DATE/TIME: 3 NOVEMBER 1994, 04:00:00 ZULU
OVERVIEW:
Pre-war battlelines have been restored in all major areas, except Iceland. For the Soviets, this allows them to hold on to some hope that a negotiated peace can be presented as a great victory to the masses. For the U.S. and her allies, allowing the Soviets to retain Iceland is simply unthinkable from both political and military standpoints.
Both sides knew that before the battlefield would shift to the conference table, one final battle must be resolved.
This scenario requires the original Database supplied with the game.

OPERATION BABYLON
ISRAEL VS IRAQ
LOCATION: The Middle East
DATE/TIME: 7 June, 1981/11:00:00 Zulu
On 7 June, 1981 the Israeli Air Force (IAF) undertook one of the most daring missions in the history of airpower. On that day the IAF launched Operation Babylon and successfully attacked and destroyed the Osirak Nuclear Reactor in Iraq. This scenario attempts to recreate that day.
This scenario requires the HUD-II database. Both scenario and database are available at
Dr. Who's Harpoon Pages.
LinchPin Blue comes with the game. All you have to do is look in the OriginalDB folder.
Babylon is the Scenario made by Stephen LeBlanc for the HUD-II. How anyone who speaks English could miss this fact is bewildering. So much for public education.... [&:]

Herman, I have explained several times why I find your post confusing, and in point of fact it is. Even your actions are somewhat confusing. To be frank I had no idea you were providing a link to a scenario that was already included in the game. I do not consider you made that clear, and I do not understand exactly why you did so.
I have so far responded partly with humour and even a reference to my education and a joke at my expense about it. In response to that you have simply kept insulting both my ability to speak English and my education itself. In both respects you are factually incorrect.
I reiterate that I have not actively insulted you, and have not posted endlessly each flaw however minor I have found in any of your hosted scenarios.
I see little point continuing to explain myself to someone who reverts to insults at each oppurtunity then continues with them even when I explain my point.
I would prefer that insults to my education and so on were moderated by yourself, with immediate effect.

I'd be willing to argue Flanker's one of the most educated. Not to mention he's actually produced tons of fun scenarios for harpooners to play. He would have done this without spamming the internet with low substance multicolored self promotional junk. Perhaps thats why you missed it.[:D] Show some class please.

The description on the Title says it all:
Harpoon Daily Feature
That I have chosen to 'feature' a scenario that is included in the game is only meant to show new players and those not familiar with the game some of the interesting scenarios that await their discovery.
Had I wished to focus on a particular site or Database, it would have been mentioned in the title. As anyone can see, I take the "oppurtunity" [sic] to promote any and all sites involved with Harpoon, whenever possible. All databases get mentioned.
HUD, HUD-II, H3DB, PlayersDB, DB2k, HutchDB, ColonialDB, Quinton'sDB, WWIIDB,... all get mentioned, equally.
If you are confused, that's a shame. I cannot write it any more basically or clearly. All that I can suggest is that you avoid any messages I post in the future. Many thanks to those folks who pointed out that the particular link was broken.

Well Herman there is probably something really easy you could
not do to help us with avoiding messages you post in the future. [&:]
