You can see past drafts by going to Statistics/Reports and then Misc. Reports.  The entire Amatuer Draft history is available.

Sweet ! Ive never noticed that before. Thanks [:)]

I find the game more enjoyable with fictional players.  I don't have any preconcieved notions about what should happen, so I'm not weighed down my own expectations. Should next years Puresim recreate A-Rod's current fielding woes?  How can a sim capture Roger Clemen's brilliant pitching and Houston's woeful offensive production?  I doubt there's a formula or method for doing that, should Shaun hardcode that in there?  Just an example, but why worry about it?

It only took me 2 seasons to become familiar with the teams and players in my fictional universe.  Now they are just as 'real' as any MLB club to me.  Kudos to Shaun for focusing fictional representation of baseball rather that an accurate replay.  There are plenty games that do this Strat & DMB mainly.

Sorry for the confusion, but what I meant was how can you see the draft while it is in progress.  I am running a 35 player historical league and I was referring to the amateur draft. Another question, there must be a way to seperate NL from AL stats on the stats report page but I haven't seen how that is done either.  Sorry if these are stupid questions but I haven't had much time with the game yet.

thesetter,

1.  No way to see draft results in progress.  The draft picks go by to quickly, but that would be a good feature.
2.  Only way to see AL/NL leaders is in the HTML almanac.

As a general comment, I've always played fictional through several versions of OOTP and now with Puresim.  I just find it more fun to create a fictional universe.  Of course when I was kid in the pre-computer dark ages, I used to create fictional leagues for a little dice baseball game my older brother showed me and figure batting averages and era with a slide rule.  Currently I'm doing a 12-team Southern Association and enjoying it a lot.

Guys, thanks for all the replies, I generally am more of a replayer I guess that's why I can't get into a fictional world.  In the week I have played this game I have gotten hooked!  Still trying to figure some stuff out but with the friendlyness of the board I'm sure if I get stumped I will get the same kind of response I got with these questions.  One thing that does surprise me is the lack of being able to access the boxscore during the game.

I'll look at in game boxes for next year, but the great news is 1.25 has added a cool breakdown of all the players' performance that dayin-game, so most of what you would have wanted to see on an in-game box is now available.

KG Erwin:

I wanted to complement you on your "Golden Age" league setup beginning in 1946. Great job!! I am loving starting my baseball replay from that year and I intend to go all the way into the present day. BTW I am managing my boyhood favorites, the Brooklyn Dodgers who I suffered with during my days as a baseball crazed kid. I wish I still had my 1955 and 56 pennants and my hat with the big blue B on the front.....probably would be a little small today.

So now I am playing your 1946 league and the fictional present day league designed by PadresFan. All I can say is I am set! Great leagues from both of you and I have everything I need to enjoy PureSim!

Shaun, it was not a criticism just an observation. Like I said in my post I am mostly a replayer and all of those games have in game updated boxscores. I appreicate your response and hope it gets into the next version. I think what i like most about this game is that it does not seem like work like most of the other games in this category. BTW, I have downloaded the update and you are correct it does give me most of the stats that I am looking for.
