Hmmmmm
anyone ever notice that Molders is spelled wrong in the game ?
hmmm, I wonder if Htpm J. Foezoe is suppost to be Josef Fozo ?
well it it wasn't, it is now
I'd say it is. His name is Josef Fözö and as the character set doesn't allow for umlauts the usual way to signify the umlaut is to follow the letter with an e, ie Mölders = Moelders or Fözö = Foezoe. I'm sure Werner can confirm if I'm correct.

lets get back to the point, should we have all Aces set to one Exp number or should we have a Few of the Uber pilots set up ?
The few Uber pilots should be set higher, imho. Regardless of their various methods, those pilots were born with the instinct to make things happen.

What sort of ratings are you giving Malan and Tuck? Their experience and leadership made all the difference to the pilots around them and also had many kills. Malan took to deliberately not finishing off bombers because he thought that damaged planes getting back with dead crew on board would have a greater effect on morale, so merely looking at kills will not truly represent his impact. I bet you wish this was one can of worms you had never opened...

Those two are 85, if they are Squadron leaders, then they have a chance to effect there Squadron during combat with the leadership skills
naw, this is not a can of worms

what about the few Zerstörer and Jabo Experten ?? ( heavy fighter and fighter bomber experts )
Lt. Eduard Tratt
Fw. Walter Scherer
Oblt. Hans-Joachim Jabs
Maj. Erich Groth
in the original game the heavy fighters and Jabo´s were dead meat no matter how experienced the pilot was [:(]

Foezoe looks silly for my eyes, but I can go with it; but I am also sure that there is a way that allows us to use the Umlauts in BoB/BtR !!

Tratt is in there, he was a 92, Groth is also there but a 77, I do not see Scherer, and I Thought Jab was there, but do not find him
hassle is, it is not the pilot in this case, but the plane
interesting, I find 20 pilots on the list of Aces from my kills during the battle list

Well added/Corrected 131 GB Aces and added some 22 normal pilots
almost as many GE pilots, but more of the Norm's

Werner, I am sorry to say it is simply not possible with the engine we have. To upgrade the engine to support other character sets we would have to move the project timeline so far forward that the sun would be a cold, dead rock the size of your forehead...

and that is after he pulls it out of where he been keeping it
oops, did I say that ? [:-]
Font in game, is a major issue
so over all, I guess we have to go with how I see it, at least now I got a excuse for why I misspelled so many names

Well, anymore debate on how we should score EXP for some of the better BoB pilots ?
or should I go with how I feel at the time I get back in ??
remember, I am asking about the high scorers during the battle, not up to this time or time afterward

put them in as you think,
but maybe we need to balance it after a bit of testing

How you going to balance the number of exp pilots ?
most of it is going to be luck at the start, but
overall, I think the 133 or so new Aces for the GB should correct some hassles with the balance
the main hassle is getting rid of all the "Extra" GE aces
(the GE side should balance out, there are a lot of the Aces, that are low ranked, and then the non Aces that were high ranked, I have gotten a number of the rank and file types in and also some of the real Aces in, or corrected)

what xp does Johnny Johnson or Douglas Badar have in game ?
(Although I think Johnson missed most of the BOB with an injury so perhaps excluded)

Douglas has a 85
Johnny, was in training and then had to have his Shoulder Repaired, so was not really in BoB, when he was released, he returned to the Squadron and often flew as DB's Wingman
so, he is really out of the scope of BoB

Dont know if anyone else has mentioned Ginger Lacey but he was, from memory, the leading BoB ace with 5 kills from the BoF and a further 18 during the BoB period.

Hmmm, could of swoar I wrote a reply to this ???
oh well
James Ginger Lacey is with 501 squadron and has a Exp of 85
you may be thinking of Eric Lock, he had 18 kills during BoB (Lacey had 14)

No Hassle Pet
as I said, I think you may be thinking of Lock, instead of Lacey (easy to do)
(both of them were pretty hot shots at this time and both ended up the war with decent scores)
but to the good, Lacey is now in the game, along with most of the other GB BoB Aces (some lists with have different pilots, but over all I think I got them all)
