Latest up-date. Panel 2 just about finished. What a pain. Japan built a one-off for every job!! Crikey!! Finally found a source for the Gatoraides (Gyoreitais), or at least 2 of them, from the Czech Republic of all places. The drawings are annotated Morskoi Kolektia CST (the old Sov equivalent to our ONI Warship Recognition docs). I guess the Czechs are still tweaking the Russian Bear's butt (If we have this, what else do you think we have??) Good on 'em. Still looking at a Japanese art set release this coming week; then we're done, except for some cleanup and addressing some some of Apollo's issues.

Sample below. JWE

B- Actually from AH's Victory in the Pacific game, but close guess.[;)] I got it off the net as I can't find my game in any of the boxes in the attic. Man! I hope I haven't thrown it away along the way!

BigJ62 - I see that your from Raleigh. I'll be heading up that way for family funeral this week in Ahoskie if you know where that is. Up 95 and then take a right at Rocky Mount. Actually, my brother-in-law lives in Raleigh.

Thanks guys. BigB's warships are in this, so they better be awesome, eh? Kelley, my little sister lives in Prattville, just North of Montgomery. Next time I go visiting, I'll give you a toot.

OK, Japan is done (kinda, I have 2 more gatoraides to figure out, but that's it). Sample of last panel below. Sometime tomorrow, Jose & I will start Side'n and Shil'n. We won't make the same mistake as last time, we'll try and find a new one. Lookin for a release in a couple days, and then we're done .. oh happy day .. done .. crikey, I need a new contacts prescription .. but, we're done !!!!!

Hope you like. Enjoy.

Finished !! Jose & I had a beer and decided to go with the Czechs on the Gyoraiteis; the 201's are the captured Dutch MTBs, the rest are rational departures on what the Sovs designated as T-9s and T-43s. Hey ... whatever! So here's completed panel 2. Now, off we go Side'n and Shil'n. Let ya know when they are posted.

JWE - Awesome work on the sides AND to everyone involved![&o] I've been to Prattville many times as my parents live in Montgomery. Yea, next time you visit, give me a shout and we'll have beer or two. I should be in the phone book and directory assistance - or just tell me here on the board.

BigJ62 - Many thanks.

Sweet Yasukuni Maru! Top Job!

So you've finished the Japanese standard ships, had your beer and cheer, and then... what's next?

Fade into the sunset and get your eyes back?

Get into consulting?

Think I'll mosey down to Puerto Valarta, hang on the beach at the Rey Sol, draw risque pictures for the Norte Americano chicas, drink some rum, get some serious sympathy for my afliction, watch the MexORC finish, draw more risque pictures for a certain Norte Americano chica; ahh haaa!!

I´m doing 3 scales, for 1, 2 and 4 engines... in only one scale it would be impossible. And also i´m using an idea from JWE of relative scale, not real scale...

Japanese stock art files sent out to Spooky. They should be up soon. We have no plans for WPO. You might try some of the WPO folks, or Fremen. One of them might wish to undertake that project.
