Or maybe a following patch for those who do care [;)]
I'm all with you!
But we two would probably have to pay around 5.000 dollars each for that expansion to make it a viable time-investment for WCS...!
On the other hand, if we could just get a handful more people on board we'd probably get it for less than 1.000 bucks... Don't know about you, but it sounds tempting to me... [;)]

Yes, as I said, COG:PE...! (PE=Perfect Edition)
[:D]
And I don't think we're alone... - the silent masses are behind us.
We'll get our way someday... [:)]

got a good interesting and Odd game going on, that Sucker Treaty was a treat !
Nappy has been rushing back and forth trying to keep Prussia alive, finally drive off the Russian Bear, while trying to pay back the Swedes, then the Ossites March on Prussia, just as the Russians give up, but I am at peace with the Ossites and can't do anything about them
Prussia loses the battle and gives up just as I march into Berlin to help out, I sit and watch, while the Russians and Ossites march away, and then watch the Prussian March back home, I take a rest break, as the marching to wearing my boys out
next Month am shocked when the Prussian attack me (would expect, that the Peace Treaty, made them go to war with me) nasty battle, 215,000 Prussians vs my 122,000 French, with no body to call on !
had the perfit terrain for the battle, channeled me into his forces, while protected my flanks, and I was able to hold him in place while some Cav and Guns moved around his lower flank (even though he had better numbers, he couldn't mass where he needed to be, while I could)
I took my time and shattered each and every one that had turned on me, and then moved forward, his Jagers did some good damage to two of my guns, but I was able to square them and masse on them, and wore them down, and took them POW when they ran, then waited for night, and moved around the hills, and started over again in the morning, really was a slaughter, but, pay back to traders, should be bad
Turkey is having a field day down south, Prussia was a major player too, until they turned on me
Russian is a Bear in more ways then one
I had thought the English Troops were the best in the game, I think the Swedes beat them hands down in this campaign, even outnumbered when I went for them, they gave me fits, a 150-250 man Army could do some nasty things, too bad they don't have those kinds of numbers
also, I think I am going to like the Swedish and Dutch fleets

and then the Ossites declare war on me !, got Turks running all around in the south, and they want to pick on me
silly rabbits, I had 2 major Armees sitting on there borders, but only send in one and Ney's Corps
(the other was to react, it wasn't needed)

Regarding the sprites, it's something we'd like to do, but as briny_norman notes, it's not really feasible. That takes a surprisingly large amount of our graphics resources (= Pixelpusher's man-hours), and those have been spent on the new map, the rather impressive naval combat graphics, and various odds and ends. Since naval combat graphics are only now nearing completion, if we added the sprites it would delay release by a significant amount of time. Better to just leave detailed combat unit graphics the way they are, release sooner, and let Pixelpusher begin the graphics for our next, still-secret project...

Not sure how much the NDA allows you to say, but I have more Qs [:D]
1. In CoG I can lay siege to a city for a few months, then the last turn some other nation walks in with more troops then me and HE gets the city. Is this still in EE?
2. Are the advisors just as "clever" as in CoG?
3. Do you still use 1.5 years to produce a guard INF?
4. Will Spain still send guerillas roaming around all over Europe?
5. Are the Spanish guerillas just as big a pain now?
6. Any new abilties to get of the kind that reduces food requirement in your provinces (anything that makes provinces a little less expensive to keep)
7. Are colonies still in the game, and if so do they work exactly as in CoG?

I have not see this, I have been in provinces that fell with other troops in the area, but, can't be sure it wasn't roll of the die or I was always the stronger force, but, I have not seen it
2. Are the advisors just as "clever" as in CoG?
not sure what you mean by clever, so maybe should leave this for Gil, or for you to explain what you mean ?
3. Do you still use 1.5 years to produce a guard INF?
didn't really look, lol, in fact, I don't think I have ever build one in Alpha or Beta, and didn't build many in CoG either, but I will try and look to see what the costs are (I am over the Mob limit right now, so can't build any if I wanted to)
4. Will Spain still send guerillas roaming around all over Europe?
I have not seen them leave Spain, they are a royal pain while in Spain, but have not seen them leave like they used to
5. Are the Spanish guerillas just as big a pain now?
while in Spain they can be, but you just have to keep your supply lines guarded and you should be okay
6. Any new abilties to get of the kind that reduces food requirement in your provinces (anything that makes provinces a little less expensive to keep)
other then keep waste to as small an amount as you can, don't remember any real upgrades that are for the province, or province control, as such
7. Are colonies still in the game, and if so do they work exactly as in CoG?
they are still there, HARDer to take from other Nations, they are not the same, but don't really bother with them (upgrades so that can go to war, and make troops and other good stuff is in there)

"Clever" as in ironic [;)]
In CoG they will do what seems clever while it might not be, the trade advisor as an example seems to judge each trade offered in term of price only, and not in regards to your current economy, which means that putting advisors on is a bad thing, is that still the case?

to be honest, I am not sure, I tend to not have friends to trade with, so don't use it, and I normally am working on the HW side, what goes on in the background is just what is setting me for my side of the testing

Wow, if this is the new graphical style, I'm really looking forward to Pixelpusher's "rather impressive naval combat graphics..."!
Lot's of cannon-wielding mermaids and cutlass-swinging Kiera Knighley clones on the battlefield, I expect...! [X(]

Where the heck do you get these images?
Since they're wearing leather I know I can rule out the PETA website, but that doesn't narrow things down much.

Hey don’t feel alone, I check this site every day as I have no clue how to play this game. I almost want to wait till the expansion (or whatever you call it) comes out so I don't have to forget old rules to play the new one. I have played some battles but have yet to get a reply from those posts I made about why and how battles go. I generally win those games but I feel like an n00b.[/align]

Sorry, I normally used to try and answer any questions, but I get kind of busy with other projects
if you have questions, please repost them, and I will try and help you out where I can, overall, I am the HW guy, so I can help more with the way HW works, or what to do if this or that happens and tactics and ideas (but, I wasn't too shabby with General gameplay or issues)
so, if you still got questions or got things you would like to ask, please do
