Are you getting a sense as to where this is going? It looks like the PO is frittering away its units.
I am on turn 8 vs the PO, and I am getting lucky in terms of where the PO's units are being sent - always seem to be into the jaws of a trap though.
I think all of my Panzer Divs are at least orange - if not red. I don't think this is a good sign, but I have progressed about as far as you have in most places. I may need to rest a few of them before moving on again...

It seems as though the PO is trying to destroy the Axis units before they can move very far into Russia. The PO is making a concentrated effort to forestall any deep penetration(s) by the Germans. That's the way it looks to me.

I'm having problems getting adjusted to this FITE mod as I tend to stick to the roads and the Soviet units that are not on or near the roads tend to be missed until they start raising havoc in my rear areas and I have to send some units back to deal with it before moving on.

Whenever my units get into the 39% supply range I tend to put them on bed rest so that they don't get into the red range. This tends to make my advance slower but when they do get into combat they tend to last longer and do a better job of hammering the enemy.
Keep us informed on how it goes in your game here in this AAR if you'd like. I'm interested in knowing how it goes with your game.

I guess everybody has different tactics, but for what it's worth, I keep the security and mp units available to cordon off the tractless areas. The panzers swarm around the road areas and the follow up infantry clears them. Meanwhile the sec and mp's can see what's in a bypassed area. If there are any strong enemy units, I'll move an infantry division next to them. If no strong units are there, the sec and mp's can handle them. If you don't cordon them off too tight, Elmer will try to move any surrounded units to a 'better' position, thus suffering disengagement attacks. Usually this will make it fairly easy to clear those areas within a few turns (except for the frigging Stalin line, which I can never get through).
I should also mention that in this scenario, there are no early Soviet partizans, and to compensate for this the German security divisions and mp units withdraw as the Axis advance gets deeper. Unless you check the withdrawal schedule, you won't know when these units go out until it happens.
Cheers!
