Turn 112/AKA where do we stand - part 1
Well, we are ranked as the 7th most glorious nation in Europe only ahead of Russia. We are about 1400 points behind Austria which is ranked as number 1.
This turn we sign (have no chice here...) the peace settlements. The one with Preussia is not too bad for us, Preussia really does not gain anything here.

Turn 112/AKA where do we stand - part 2
The settlement with Spain is a "treaty of Versailles" kind of treaty. This one means I will fight Spain again and again.

Turn 112/AKA where do we stand - part 3
Atleast our military will be well trained by the next French-Spanish war. This turn we purchase Cavalry Feriocity.
Finally let us sum up the peace settlements;
-they did not take alot of colonies for some reason. This would have been a better choice for Spain if she wanted any chance of a friendly France.
-Spain took all of Southern France. There were other provinces which were not French nationals they could have taken. That would not have been so insulting as this is.
-The provinces Spain took was three of the best farming provinces, so we lose something like 35$, 45 food, 25 wine, 12 wool, 10 spices per turn. This is BAD!!
-we lose our best general. This is not a disaster but it is not good either.
So what now?
-our economy will be poor for a long time, we lose money from the provinces lost, and we have to pay 23% of our income for some time.
-that aside, we will prepare for war with Spain. Our armies needs some time to train, but we will have them ready in a year or so
-1400 glory points behind is alot, I doubt I will be able to recover from this, and the loss of those southern provinces means that we will not make alot of glory per turn as these provinces will now give us negative glory every turn.
-we still have more than enough generals to fill our armies and corps
-we still owe the "world bank" 350$ at 14% interest, this must be repaid quickly
-we need alot of cash to build the required artillery and cavalry
-we will need to produce 5-6 garrisons as well, this ammounts to close to 450$
Things are not good, not by a long shot, and there is no choice but to go to war with Spain again...What to do with those Preussiams? They will probably DoW me next time too...Might have to make a deal with them before I DoW Spain, something like:
France will not DoW Preussia for 2 years
France will ceede a province to Preussia
Preussia will not DoW France for 3 years.

Will also try to seal a real alliance with the Ottomans as an extra safeguard against the Austrians.

Turn 114
Well, money is currently a problem, and that problem is costing us glory...
Furthermore, we train 7800 men per turn, and our armed forces are lacking roughly 180.000 men, we will need some time to be ready again...

Turn 115
Since things are going to be quiet for a few turns now, just say the word if there is anything in peculiar you want to see.
As for today, we train one millitia and order one of our barracks to expand. And then we take a look at the new revised version of the European map.

Turn 116
We finish ordering the required garrison units, that means that from now on we will start building offensive units again.
We also order the construction of two farms and a bank to further boost our economy. Food is my number one concern right now as our manpower is low.
We also wonder what the British are up to...

LOL!
HMS Crumpets is still in service I see. I changed the name from 4th rate or something generic when I was still in this one.
[:D]
Don't suppose England is being so kind as to deliver you artillery guns?

I seriously doubt that [:D]
But this move by the British makes no sense to me. That army is far to weak to take on anyone on the continent...

Might get to a standstill with Sweden, but I doubt that is what he is up to, well we will know next turn I guess.

Turn 117
This time around, we build nothing as we need to increase our stockpile of money and labour to build the more expensive units. It also seems that the former King of England, Mus, was correct. It seems that Sweden might be Britains intended target.

Turn 118
Again a rather slow turn. We take note of the fact that the British are still merely keeping their army in Denmark, but they do also have a few fleets off Sweden by now.
Apart from that, the decision is made NOT to order the formation of a cavalry division this turn, instead we will keep the resources and form an artillery division in one or two turns.
We finally look at the glory standings;

Turn 119
Our artillery division is ready, and another one is ordered to form. The ready one is placed into the main army, leaving that army shy of 1 artillery division. With the remaining cash, we pay off our dept and order the construction of two farms and a bank.
Although we currently gain 2 population every turn, we use the same ammount of population every turn to keep up with the recruitment needs of our armies. It is a long way still before we are ready for war. Some nasty rumors are circulating in Europe;

Turn 120
Another quiet turn, so we basically do nothing really. We adjust our tax rate from 20 to 17% so that we will actually gain national morale instead of losing it every turn. Nothing is built this turn, but we do chose an upgrade for our army;

Turn 121
Things have really quiet down in Europe, we are trying to make the most of this lull, so we order the formation of one cavalry division as well as the construction of two more farms and a painting of five dogs playing poker.
Each turn see roughly 10.000 men issued to our understrength divisions, we are still some time away from being ready for war...

Turn 122
Another quiet turn, we order the construction of one court and two barracks.
We finish off by looking at what our provinces are building at the moment (since there is really nothing else to show...)

How do you look things in your world at this point? Who do you forsee as the force to be reconed with. You mentioned all is quite. Is there a nation who looks (in your opinion) likely to start the next war?
