Hello Rick,
that would be fantastic.
Is there a way I can send you materials I have allready found (although it's not much and probably from the same sources you will get it)
Thanks in advance
Jacco

Jacco,
Sure, save any line drawings you may have as .bmp files and put them in a .zip file. You can email them to me at:
madmanrickATaolDOTcom (just replace the at with @ and the DOT with . and you'll be good to go)
Just put something descriptive, such as WitPAE line drawings, as the message title so I don't accidentally delete them.
Alternatively, you can upload them here in a .zip, your choice.

I'd be interested in seeing a Northrup N-3PB. Most of the rest of my wishlist has already been addressed.

madman,
any chance of creating a a universal graphics file with all your work on it so that modders can use a common file with your and ryans graphics.
big fan of your work.
ps does anybody know what the definative book on ww2 aircraft is ? Janes perhaps?

ggm,
As of this moment, I really don't have time to create a universal graphics file. However, that may be something that's doable when I complete the majority of the artwork. The other factor complicating a universal graphics file is that much of the requested artwork is for prototype and esoteric aircraft, which may affect play balance one way or another.
As far as a definitive book on WW2 aircraft goes, it really depends on what you are looking for. If you want stats, Jane's is a great reference (albeit expensive). For camo schemes and line drawings, books like Squadron's In Action series and the Warpaint series are indispensable. I have close to 1000 titles in my personal library, so I can cover just about any subject in one form or another. I am only missing the really esoteric and one-off type aircraft. Just about anything else (excepting the most modern a/c), I have in a book or three.

Osprey books are a good source of line drawings, albeit not of very esoteric types.

madman, thanks for the advice. hopefully one day you'll have time to put together a universal graphics file so that modders wont have to add the graphics files on an ad hoc basis. I understand your setiments though, just modding the early aircraft into the database would take some time, and since many did not operate in large groups the number of airgroups would balloon.
your work however shows the great potential of this game engine.
