Not much happened.  I'm letting my troops rest up the for Soviet winter offensive that is going to take place around turn 49 or so.

I've finished the Axis side of turn 46 and you can find the AAR here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/djifvmmkt ... 6 AAR.html

I did some attacking, mostly in the Sevastapol area and gained some hexes and it looks good for next turn.  Maybe I can slip those Hungarians in there somewhere to help out holding the front line.

You're quit welcome. I'm retired and don't have much else to do all day long. This keeps me off the streets at night. If it weren't for this game and the time I invest you might one morning find me face down in a roadside ditch, lipstick on my collar and my wallet gone.

I read a book about html and thought I could do it. It turns out that I've had some limited success. Thanks for noticing.

My wife tells me: "at least I know where you are: playing those stupid games."

I've finished the Axis turn 47 moves and published the AAR.  You can find it here:          http://www.mediafire.com/file/zynnqwtzz ... 7 AAR.html

I did some attacking just north of Sevastapol and gained a hex or two.  Most of my attacks just bounced off his lines though.

I'm looking for Sevastapol's collapse about turn 60 or so.  How's that for a prediction?

I finally captured Smolensk and now I just need to hold onto it for one turn.  Sevastapol is going great guns.

I've put together the next collection of AAR's. This is turns 41 throu 50 and you can find it here:

Turn 50

*Winter-Offensive begins*

10. December - 13. December 1941
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay. I put some update after long delay... So, i began winter-offensive this turn. And my main objective is to push @ north during the offensive.
There is 2 operations:
1) Operation "Pogus" which main objective is to push germans backwards to Town of Luga (with 6. Guards A, 7. A, 57. A, 5. Shock A and 59. A) and maybe try to encircle little bit some infantry (?).

2) Operation "Ifrates" in south of Ilmen lake. 8. Army packed with some tank corps leads thru' town of Staraya Russa and try to make contact behind lake with 7. Army.
54. & 43. Armies in south, try to break their way to town of Kholm.

Some soldiers from 7. Army starting counter-attack around Novgrod @ first days of the winter-offensive.

Here's what Crimean situation looks these days. City of Sevastopol won't hold long. Line is way too thin.

I finished the Axis turn 51 moves and published the AAR here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/ogmz0ztn5 ... 1 AAR.html

It's looking good in the Sevastapol area but the rest of the front lines have problems.  My attacks just bounce off his lines.  I guess that's because of the increase in the shock level of the Soviet army.  The Soviet winter offensive will last until about turn 60 or so.....so I don't expect much Axis advance during that time.

Dave and I are attacking at the same time this turn.  He might not like me attacking right when he's in the middle of his Winter Offensive but I think it's fun.  The Turn 52 AAR can be found here:

I gained a hex or two in several places on the map and Sevastapol is looking better all the time.

Dave and I are going great guns.  I think maybe we've done one turn a day for about a month now or so.  Anyway I finished Axis turn 54 and published the AAR here:

I've finished the Axis turn 55 and published the AAR here:

I gained a couple of more hexes near Sevastapol but other than that not much changed this turn.

I've finished the Axis turn 56 and published the AAR here:

Major changes at Sevastapol.  I've split the defenders into two pockets.....one of them out of supply I think.  Almost all my other attacks just bounced.

So um.........hey if nobody needs to see the losses then I'll just quit posting them so often because it's a pain in the neck to collect that data and format it correctly. That'll save me about 15 minutes each turn. Anybody needs to see 'em just lemme know.
