Ok I won't drag this out you can set your fighters intercept to None and they will not intercept.
Demilitarized means just that no military units of any size the Japanese do not have a by on this and are not exempt. And as far as I know China would prefer that Japanese units leave Chinese territory. Because if The Soviet Union is attacked from Chinese territory then that means that they will be at war with the Soviet Union regardless if that attack comes from Chinese or Japanese Military Units.

Ok I officially give up. The return of Soviet and Chinese territory will be arranged between the Soviet Union and China. All Japan has to do is move its forces back to Korea.

While the Far East attracts much attention the war in Europe continues. France continues to wage war on the Continent although the Germans are very strong. The French and British will continue to wage war against the Fascists until we can retake the lands of the French Nation. All the nations of GOWN are deeply concerned with the power of the German-Italian and Japanese-Chinese alliances. These aggressive nations threaten us on all sides, and have the edge in military might. We cannot afford war with all four of these powers, at least not now. GOWN notes the Soviet Union is a possible ally if total war comes. China is acting in its own interests, and GOWN is deeply disappointed in the Argentine adventure. The USA cannot allow Argentina to remain under foreign influence, but does not have the means to contest the matter now. However, when we can, we will make the Western Hemisphere free of non-GOWN powers.
The British command continues to fight the Italians in North Africa, and the Royal Navy has had some success in actions this month. The Italian move into Yugoslavia is disheartening. The German and Italian moves to the East are noted. The RAF and French Air forces continue to struggle against the Luftwaffe. We are on the wrong side of attrition here, but the Germans take losses too. What are Axis intentions in Europe? Are they going to war there forever? GOWN will not surrender.

China is acting in its own interests.
In one of my other games I am playing USA/China, I gifted the Mexican oil fields to China as their oil situation is pretty dire. Unless China was foolish enough to include Vladivostock and Ulan Bator in their victory conditions, I don't think the Soviet Union has to much to worry about, and the only other fly in the ointment is if they picked GOWN objectives for Victory. Sorry GOWN what is that Acronym.

GOWN is just "Group of Western Nations". My engineers are kept busy!
The capture program comes with Windows and is called "Snipping Tool", a nice piece of work. Just search for it on your machine, Windows 7 had it, maybe Vista too.
For editing I use the wonderful, and free, "Paint.NET" which is a worthwhile download. Tons of functionality, and well respected.

More dead french men and more territory seized. Rearming the Soviet Border is on track, Germany suspects that the Soviets will attack as soon as possible.
Italy grabs some more of France.
Japan offers the Soviets peace since they never did so.

Peru Joins Anti-Imperialist Coalition
Inspired by the recent Argentine stand against imperialist domination, Peru has accepted Chinese offers of assistance to preserve itself from Yankee oppression. It is hoped that Argentina and Peru are the first of many Latin American countries that will have the courage to stand up for their liberty.
The need for freedom-loving countries to unify has been underscored by the triumph of the forces of neo-colonialism in Guatemala, with the installation of a pro-US junta there.

France and Great Britain shall no longer be two nations, but one Franco-British Union. The constitution of the Union will provide for joint organs of defence, foreign, financial and economic policies. Every citizen of France will enjoy immediately citizenship of Great Britain, every British subject will become a citizen of France.
The British proposed Union and the French accepted. At the end of the conflict, or if French victory conditions are within reach, France will restructure as an Independent nation, if such is the choice of the French and British peoples.
Here is a map of France during the transition. The Franco-British troops had some success against the Italians, and hurt the Germans too.

GOWN announces major convoy battles in the Atlantic. Three separate wolf packs were engaged in battles with our joint navies and both sides suffered losses, but the German losses were far higher. Even old destroyers engaged and took losses, but the win-loss ratio in modern submarines was 3-1 in our favor.

In the Mediterranean and North Africa the Franco-British forces sought to compel the Italians to surrender or withdraw. Rome, Messina, and Tirana were all attacked, putting a dent in Italian production. Italy is a serious enemy, and easier to attack in our strategic situation than Germany. We know they will give us a good fight, but one has to wonder what they are getting out of this bloody battle.
Here is a broad overview of the situation in the West.

Giving up all of your hexes and troops to another regime, has its merits. Except that you are going to miss out on some of the research that is specialized to that nation only, and you are going to have cities that only produce at 50% of their capacity, unless you have Occupation technology (400 PP), then its at 100%. But, you could have much higher production from a nation on its own. Also troops will fight worse for you at only 80%, unless you have the technology (coalition, 200 PP), ...
While I fully get doing it with a country that has lost its own people production sites, mostly, I don“t get it for a country that has all of them left. It sort of defeats the purpose

Also there is the loss of the ability to perform coups with more than 1 country, the ability to perform diplomatic discord ... the not gaining of new generals for that country...
Ok lets face it, Italy is not that hot, but as long as it can fend for itself, it is alot hotter than the alternative. ...

Also, it makes sense for Britain to research those two techs that improve foreign countries material and production sites. They have alot of those sites already; Like India, all their african colonies, Hong Kong, Singapore... etc..

Unless you changed it it costs 1000 to research the economic one and only raises the production to 80 percent.

Ohh ya I probably should put this in the mod area but did you know that Italy gets the level III generic tank and the specific Italian tank? Can't remember if it gets 2 for IV either.
