It always seems to me that subconsciously when playing the naval engagements we all get a more "just one more will do it" mind set... Its the gambler in us that says, we had a good result maybe we can get another, when we all know deep down the dice will bite us on the backside at some point.
Naval engagements seem to have more of a risk factor in them. you have the search rolls which can massively change the outcome, and then the damage rolls as well. At least in land combats its just one roll that can screw you over [:D]

Looks like the Chinese are fighting back! Surely the IJN can bring some of their landlubbing cousins over to help? Or have they got bigger fish to fry?

The French navy is always an issue as well. As an axis player part of my thinks maybe a beeline for all the ports to try and capture as many as possible could be an option, but I have never been brave enough to try it

Germany aligns Hungary, on a 3 US draws one chit.

No DoW.

All go with land.

French units in Brussels are safe thanks to rain.

Germany rails GAR from Karslruhe to Denmark, INF from Denmark to Saarbrucken and INF div from Denmark to La Spezia Italy.

Japanese units move few hexes in northern and central China.

Italian units that are not using oil move to Tunisia. 2 units move hex or two in French border. Italian TER moves to Kenya.

3 Japanese units (ENG, 2x MAR) debarks to China.

Germany did not use O-chit and Brussels odds where +4,1. I didn't dare to try that (21% chance to take it). Instead in frustration I decided to gamble with Mech.

Roll was good. Actually good enough to take Brussels... Next time I'll take it.

US puts it's entry chit in the Jap pool and selects Chinese build aircraft. On a 4, the tension doesn't change.

Just realised, the German production is more than 12. What do you wish to change? Looks like only 1 Mil can be built if you want to keep the rest.

Can you please check Germany production, Oil resources, Received oil. All 4 received oil should be saved (in Breslau, Budapest x2 and Brno). That leaves 18 production points and 12 (14-2 sent to USSR) BP's.

EDIT: Now I see the problem

We have a technical problem. Cagliari is still showing as Italian controlled. When I progress the turn to the conquest phase, Sardinia is remaining as Italian. I've posted it to the Tech forum to see if it can be fixed.

If sardinia would have been conquered by taking that city Italy will not land units using this bug. You can move that div and take the city.
