The highlighting of upgradeable units to only display the current value in green has also brought the expected advantage. Now I leave this function switched on without risking a disadvantage in the game overview. Well done! [:)]

I would request that the upgrade button would not be operational if the selected unit cannot be upgraded due to lack of mpps.

In the screen below Germany only has 10 mpps left, nonetheless the 12th corps is eligible for an upgrade which cannot take place once you try to upgrade mobility.

Ok most probably not bound to happen, but if you select a unit and would like to move it north east reaching the edge of the map and you happen to place the mouse point where the options, victory conditions, save and quit buttons are, these appear on the map, only left clicking on victory condition will bring up the screen with the conditions.

Imo this pop ups should not appear and the victory conditions should not pop up if you left click.

Would be really nice to have a brief description for each unit type (2-4 sentences definitely enough) explaining briefly it's ideal role, etc. Otherwise have to wade through stats to get a good idea about how light cruisers fit
into fleet composition, or what special forces do. This was one of the bigger UI points I had.

Agreed, a short sentence on each unit would be appreciated - Though Battleships excel in surface ship combat they are highly vulnerable to submarine attack.

I would also like to see date and time on saved games. Sometimes I have a couple of saves from the same game the same day and I need the time to know which one is which...

Chapter 8 of the Manual includes descriptions of all unit types, though from reading your other post I gather you're suggesting having the text in game, like with Research?

Hi Bill,

Yes, I would have those descriptions in game. I know wargamers are not afraid of manuals as a bunch, but this was the UI addition that I felt could bring most bang for the buck...user experience is a huge selling point these days, and I think that would help as a quick reference.

Only one tiny detail, but everything should be polish and shiny! In the long campaign I can buy another four garrisons, but unfortunately there are no suitable names any more. Disgrazia grande![:D]

Been playing so long, this is obviously a minor issue but here it is anyway - when we add to Diplomacy we get a Pop-Up to confirm, but when subtracting there is no Pop-Up to confirm, resulting in subtraction of Diplomacy [at no cost or recoup, which is ok]. The issue is I accidentally hit the subtract button, and with no Confirm dialog I could not undo it. I know, I know - we must pay attention ! But this was really annoying as it was important to not do what I accidentally did do at that point [:(]

Please add a Confirm dialog when subtracting Diplomacy [:)]

Field Report - Started a new game of 653H with v1.01. I haven't seen any of those negative Action Point numbers that may have been causing those Left Button Down errors, and no errors or crashes either. The slight adjustment to Unit Experience seems to have a good effect as some of my units are getting to one dot a little earlier than previously.

A few things mentioned in the past but worth mentioning again, I think. I can sometimes still see hexes that contain hidden enemy naval units:

And when I scroll to the far right of the screen there are still these graphics glitches [sometimes also happens when scrolling to the very bottom, but not often].

And, it would be nice if a country had no available builds that the country name were also in Red so that we know without clicking on the name to see the list. I'm a goof and I click on every country every turn just to see if I can build something. It would be nice if they were red so I would know without clicking on them all [:)]

This is a combined screen capture, selected Air Units show the Range to Hex when over Spotted hexes [6 in the Green Circle], but a question mark when over non-spotted hexes or water [Black Circle]. I guess the '?' means it isn't spotted, but we can tell that by the Red Circle. I'd rather see the range in these hexes also [so we don't have to count]. I don't know if this change might conflict with anything in the manual [I took a quick look and didn't see anything, but not totally sure].

A very minor thing but I guess worth reporting. I added Canada in as an 8th Major and now the National Moral Bar for Italy is partially obscured by the date. When an 8th is added in, maybe the whole bar could shift a little to the left where there is some open space?

I tinkered in the graphics files to see if I could make the bar for each country a little shorter so that they all would fit in the original space, but I had no luck.
