Been wanting to catch 'Rona for 18-months by licking shopping carts and walking through crowds for several years.
5 weeks ago, when my last Tour ended, no wonder I felt like crap, got the 'Rona at a Basketball Camp.
I beat Rona, no problem.
Been cleared for battle.
Had faith, have never worried, if my number is up, it's up.

I see that, lets do this. Hope things are good on your side of the Pond. Close friend of mine just got back from visiting that Island. Went to some huge Rollercoaster park NW of the Capital. I didn't pay too much attention to detail. Some neighborhood pubs also.

Going to see your 007 on Sunday, No Time to Die. Popcorn + Butter + Coke.

You're funny. I do miss the Coke of the 80's, because it came in a bottle. Also, Mountain Dew. The Devil's Juice & drugs not my thing. Be around it and recycled American beer occasionally, but that's back in school days, kid's stuff.

Bottle (glass) is better for all beverages. Coke, Beer. Yes, even the temperature is better. Plastic bottles are awful. I see people buy water in plastic bottles all the time. There has to be floating particles of plastic. Get water for a well with a purifier or test it yourself.

I don't watch many films nor TV, most are made by the Devil and have bunch of Devil stuff in them. Wait, I mean I don't like to pay for it. Free and sharing logins. I do like the classic, "The Longest Day", because John has a long mustache. Going to James Bond movies is more pf a cultural and social event. Same with Star Wars. I don't even like Star Wars since episode #5, but I'll go to the big screen for that.

One of the first things any preacher has to learn, is never get offended. Was taught Psalm 119:165 in the days of my youth: Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Redrum, I understand your point but too many people are itching to be offended. Elvis was just kidding. I laughed out loud at the image of him licking shopping carts. He has an amazing sense of humor and he obviously was not attempting to start a serious discussion. It's great to be able to laugh when times are terrible.

I read accounts of German foot soldiers on the Eastern Front cracking jokes about terrible conditions. Hardened men would state things like "Heavy rain today" during a murderous bombardment. Sometimes you got to have a sense of humor to survive.

Very true but the point is there are rules on what is allowed to be posted on the Matrix forums which his post seemed to conflict: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/register.asp. I pointed this out so that he would hopefully adjust his post to avoid a controversial topic but its up to the mods to determine whether his post breaks those rules and what action should be taken.

People can always chose to ignore or turn the other way but history has shown us that indifference and inactivity usually doesn't end well. "The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference."

So I mostly agree with you that its better to assume positive intentions and realize my post maybe wasn't specific enough. I have no issue with the comment around "licking shopping carts" and chuckled as well since that is clearly a joke as no one is going to debate that people really believe licking shopping carts is a good idea and its trying to make light of a difficult situation just like your historical reference. The issue is with "No Vax, No Masks ... walking through crowds for several years" which to me didn't come across as a joke and are generally controversial and politically charged topics at least here in the US that people do have very strong opinions on one way or the other which I think are better avoided on a wargames forum and seem conflict with the forum rules.
