Indeed! The Pre 3 has been announced, but not released yet. Sometime this summer. [:D]

Because it tastes good, especially on toast, even better with scrambled eggs on the toast.

Could this be the start of a Marmite war? We could retaliate by banning Danish Bacon.

Already been demanded by Internet posters. Somebody even intimated that Denmark smelled of pigshit. Very eloquent...

Totally false, too. It's 60-65% at most...

And just to be clear: Marmite is not "illegal" or "banned" in Denmark. Simply isn't true.

Anybody who wants to sell the stuff in this country has to have permission to do so, since Marmite has vitamins added to it, and all such foodstuffs have to have permission to be sold in this country. There's no ban.

Yes but the headline "Marmite resellers in Denmark slightly inconvenienced" doesn't have the same ring to it.

There aren't that many of them. The whole schmozzle began when some shopowner (selling British foodstuffs) in downtown Copenhagen complained that she wasn't allowed to stock Marmite.

The real danger w/ eating Marmite is you start saying things like 'chuffed' and 'what's all this then?'. The Danes were wise to restrict its consumption.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

What could be next?

Phase 1: Marmite

Phase 3: Profit/World Domination

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: sprior

Marmite banned in Denmark!

Why would anyone eat Marmite? [8D]

Leo "Apollo11"
For much the same reason that people consume syrup of ipecac or apomorphine-it makes a fine emetic. [:'(]
