I grew up near McCord AFB, and when I was a kid we We had drills but it was for atomic bombs, lol, we were told to get under our desks, I don't think that would have helped much lol. I still remember gas for 75 cents and a pack of smokes for a buck. lol and ad can of coke was 50 cents.

I couldn't think of the words. They were atomic bomb drills. We went to the lower level of the school and put our face and hands against the wall in a crouched position....GP
