How do they know that most bobcats are not named Bob? Do they speak bobcat, and have asked them? If not, then it is just a guess. Thus, not a fact.

All of them is not the relevant number. The claimed 'fact' stated that it was most of them. Have your cat made a survey among the bobcats? How large percentage of bobcat names must one know to consider such a statement a fact? It could very well be so that the name Bob is a regional bobcat name...
