Italy search in the East Med. No Axis air added. Any Allied air added?

Fly the 5-strength fighter from Northern Libya along with the Skua to the 1 box.

I am going with excluding the CW SUB. Hope that was correct, and can change it after if I was in error.

Both sides find (5-2), with no points. I assume Allies go with naval air, and proceed to air combat.

Very friendly air action. Italy abort the air combat.

The Italian AA was good enough (5,1,7,7,9,8).

Italy stay. Does Allies stay?

Allies stay as well.

Italy finds the second time (1-7), and use points to make it a surface action.

Italy use the remaining points to increase the damage done to US ships.

What ship(s) take the X, and the D?

US BB sinks.

Italy suffered four aborted cruisers.

With a majority of the Italian force aborting the Italian commander decide to play it safe and aborts with the rest as well.

The US TRS aborts to Suez.

That concludes the naval action for this impulse.

There will now be a break before continuing.

Yet another miss for Japan when trying to disorganize those Australians.
