Somewhat of a very good day Orm. The good outweighs the bad . . . I cooked a turkey and it is delicious, I made a bread dressing , I baked 6 large sweet potatoes* and six large russet baking potatoes, along with a small 1.5 quart (a little less than 1.5 litres) crockpot with canned grean beans. A friend brought a pumkin pie while I had also bought, then baked, a "Razzleberry" pie that has blackberries and raspberries as well as a strawberry and rhubarb pie with a crumble topping. Unfortunately, one invited guest is in hospital, another overslept but came down and did eat, another one I guess "forgot", and I gave food to someone else who ate it in front of a health care worker. I offered food to someone else but she will be in hospital tomorrow for a procedure so later I brought her some "medicine" bars of 150 grams of dark chocolate, another bar of 150 grams of dark chocolate with almonds, a 5 pack of smaller dark chocolate with sea salt, and some smaller bars of chocolate with toffee bits. I told her to tell the staff that she was given medicine and she was to eat some as soon as is possible after the surgery. To put it politely, she should eat a lot of that every day. I would have given someone else some food but he was heading for work and while I asked a neighbor to tell her that I invited her, that message was garbled. *A bride was telling her coworkers about her new husband and they asked what he liked. She said that he really liked sweet potatoes. "Oh yes, those are good!" replied her coworkers. The bride replied "I can get them sweet but how do you get them yellow?"
