Well not in Caucasus, but everywhere else you already have a frontline...although, the action in Caucasus and Stalingrad seems to have taken the punch out of your winter offensive. Well, that much more to wait for winter 42-43. I don't believe I still have enough 'power' to take Moscow nor Leningrad, not without stripping the other fronts from artillery and reserves. Certainly not the replacement pools either, I don't have anything there.

I've seen the Axis do so well before. Karri has already beaten me twice before once as the Axis and once as the Soviets. This time looks like a repeat. I would beat the Fascist beast into the dirt but my dudes are tired and outnumbered.

Larry those screenshots you gave us are ful of Soviet divisions well up to strength and in hte green - how can you say your guys are tired???
Aer you doing little spoiling attacks away from the main action? Sounds like Karri's losses are fairly low, so I wonder if you're giving him a bit of a free ride on the attrition stakes??[&:]

Intell considerations proclude me from saying how I got those Soviet divisions to LOOK like they were up to full strength and in the green.

And yes, I am doing a bunch of spoiling attacks. I had 47 assults last turn and I'm thinking it's keeping the Axis from attacking me, but maybe I'm dreaming again.
Wouldn't that be cool if I could get the Axis on the ropes like he has me? But again, I'm dreaming.

Would it be possible for the Soviet player to post his equipment categorized losses as Karri has done??

Would it be possible for the Soviet player to post his equipment categorized losses as Karri has done??
Also, would it be possible for Karri to post his inventory and replacements screen like Larry has done?

Why do it as Karri has done when you can use a picture? Voila:

Seriously Larry, this is far from over. Axis frontlines are stretched to the max. Why not to try to retake Stalingrad or drive down to Rostov thus splitting Axis forces in two.
Take a look at your production, you got rifle squads in the equivalent of four to five divisions per round, you got more T34's and other tanks per round than an avarage german panzer division has authorized!
No more defeatism!

As the man said - "the best form of defence is attack". Rostov has to be a realistic target.

Here's the situation near Murmansk. The lakes froze over and the situation is confused to say the least.

I jsut noticed something - the Sov's get some battleships late in the game - IIRC there's a theatre option they can take that decreases the number oof tanks or somesuch, but increases their supply, etc.
But I just noticed that the replacement rate for the BB's also tripples with the increase on T47 - so they get 6 if they take that option - is that correct?

That sounds familiar. I'm not sure since I've never played a game of FitE out that far.

I looked it up -
Complete Battleships (Russia)

This option will be available on turn 47 and disappear on turn 100. If chosen Russia will have an immediate 5% drop in replacements. 104 turns (one year) after the option is chosen the Soviet supply will increase with 4 due to safer lend-lease lines. He also gets a naval unit south of Sukhumi (hex 220,251). This unit has: 1 Battleship, 2 Battle cruisers and 4 Destroyers. He also gets two naval units west of Leningrad (hex 138,68). Each of these units has: 1 Battleship, 2 Battle cruisers and 4 Destroyers. In addition to all this, 3 Battleship, 4 Battle cruisers and 12 Destroyers are placed into the soviet replacement pool.

Here's the minimap moves movie from turns 52 thru 56. I've noticed that the lines aren't changing all that much now. Maybe we have a stable front line?

Is it your winter offensive? The German forces are really hurting for supplies and cannot take repeated attacks, I would look for an area that has STREATCHED its supply, German, and whittle away at the troops with sustained small attacks... I also recommend the BB option, the 5% replacements is a small amount, I think the supply is a plus 5, whis would be the equivalent of about what 15%? Huge bonus for the reds!

His winter offensive is about half done turnwise, I think. As to regarding my supply, well all areas apart from Murmansk and Caucasus are equally supplied. During the mud period I made sure that the raillines next to front are repaired everywhere. Last turn I repaired the Stalingrad raillines.
