The German 32 Inf Reg stupidly decided to break its "siege" and attack New Orleans, but was utterly ruined by the numerically superior defenders. A counterattack is imminent.


FIGHT 5 - Location: N of New Orleans

Combatants: National Guardsmen vs 32 Inf Reg, 2 ID

Results: The Germans put up a good fight, but in the end most of them surrendered.

North: Quebec was attacked.

Montreal was the scene of heavy fighting, and most British and Canadian troops were forced to retreat by the recent influx of Hungarians. An Italian recon battalion is rooting out resistance in Montreal, while
Canadian infantry prepare to reoccupy the city.


FIGHT 6 - Location: Montreal

Combatants: 7 Inf Reg, 51 Highlanders ID vs 59 Rcn Btn, 1st Italian Army

Results: Light losses, advance stalled.

Notes: The loss of Montreal will be a blow to my supply capacity and the Canadian replacement rate. Quebec is now cut off from reinforcements.

Hamilton saw some strong advances by the 73 ID. The other bridgehead has seen no activity, so I'm going to take the initiative and attack them.


FIGHT 7 - Location: NE of Toronto

Combatants: NY Guardsmen, 51 Highlanders ID, & 1 Amd Bgd, 1st Hussars vs 57 Inf Reg, 97 ID & Hungarian tanks

Results: The enemy was routed, though losses are comparable, and the cost in aircraft was high.

Mexico: The Zapatistas are still chasing the Mexicans.


FIGHT 1 - Location: Yucatan Jungles

Combatants: Zapatistas vs Elements of 4 Inf Reg, 1st Mex Army

Results: 8 squads for 10 squads, 3 MG, 1 AT, and 4 mortars.


The Mexican scouts are cutting my rail lines. This has gone on long enough. Engineers in Oklahoma City are waiting to surround them and then fix the railroad.

I think the Mexican forces might be trying to encircle me.


FIGHT 2 - Location: Northern Mexico

Combatants: 4th Army vs Elements of 2nd Mexican Army

Notes: Three separate battles.

Results: A company, 9 MG, 2 AT, and 2 mortars for 97 squads, 38 MG, 6 AT, and 26 mortars.

Follow-up: A platoon, 3 mortars, and a Jeep for 41 squads, 17 MG, 5 AT, and 13 mortars.

West: The Japanese are pulling their forces back west towards San Diego.


FIGHT 3 - Location: Colorado River, W of Phoenix

Combatants: 8th Amd Bgd , 4th Army vs 21 Inf Reg, 8 ID

Results: A Jeep for a company.

Follow-up: A platoon for 200+ men, 13 MG, 2 AT, 2 guns, and 4 mortars.


A Japanese infantry regiment was landed north of San Francisco, escorted by even more Japanese battleships. A confrontation in the San Francisco Bay followed.


FIGHT 4 - Location: San Francisco Bay

Combatants: US Navy & Hornet airplanes vs Japanese Navy

Results: My massive naval force annihilated the Japanese ships, losing only a destroyer in the process. However, a hundred Zeroes came out of nowhere and destroyed half my naval aircraft (5 Zeroes were downed).

South: State militia and Canadian armor have begun an offensive operation in Louisiana and Mississippi.


FIGHT 5 - Location: N of New Orleans

Combatants: National Guardsmen & 7 Amd Bgd, 1st Mech Div vs Germans

Results: A defeat. 1 company, 18 MG, 3 AT, 4 guns, 8 mortars, and 8 tanks for a platoon, 5 MG, 1 AT, 1 AA, and 3 mortars.

Follow-up: The Canadians attack a nearby German recon battalion. 4 tanks and two troop carriers are lost for a captured patrol.


Florida is being invaded by Vichy French and secessionists. After the frogs are taken care of, I will utterly obliterate those traitors.


FIGHT 6 - Location: NW of Orlando

Combatants: 70 ID vs Vichy French

Results: Another defeat. The divisional HQ was destroyed. Hundreds dead, 23 MG, 5 guns, a Priest, etc. for two companies, 16 MG, 7 AT, 8 guns, and 11 mortars.

American forces attempt to drive the Germans from the Mississippi.


FIGHT 7 - Location: NE of Shraeveport

Combatants: National Guardsmen, 26 ID, most of the 2 Marine Div, & 91 Art Bgd, 1 Cav Div vs 12, 21, & 121 Inf Reg, 20 Ferry Bgd, & the Das Reich armor

Results: A costly defeat. The Missouri Guardmen are gone.

FIGHT 8 - Location: W of Jackson

Combatants: National Guardsmen, a Marine regiment, & 1 Cav Bgd, 1 Cav Div vs 818 Art Bgd & 206 Inf Reg, 1 ID & 603 Art Bgd, 2 ID

Results: Moderate victory.

North: Small-scale conflict continues along the Ohio Line and west of the Niagara Falls.

Intelligence indicates troop movements in New York and Pennsylvania.

The withdrawal of the Romanian Army has badly hurt the Axis in Canada. I should be able to repulse them easily now. However, a fresh Italian army has landed in Portland.

FIGHT 9 - Location: Shore of Lake Ontario

Combatants: NY Guardsmen, 51 Highlanders ID, & 1 Amd Bgd, 1st Hussars vs 57 Inf Reg, 97 ID & Hungarian tanks

Results: A horrible defeat. The NY Guardsmen were overrun.

FIGHT 10 - Location: Montreal

Combatants: Canadians & 44 ID vs 59 Rcn Btn, 1st Italian Army, Montreal Garrison, & Elements of Hungarian 2 ID

Results: One last great defeat. All of the defeats I've suffered this turn indicate that I am not yet ready to mount a full Reconquista.

Follow-up: Some Axis troops that fled Montreal were attacked. 4 platoons for 300 men, 11 MG, 2 AT, and 10 mortars.

Fronts - Central America: I still have a regiment or two left. They're doing a good job with delaying the Brazilians and Colombians.

The Honduran army has activated. I decided to keep the current deployments.

Mexico: Zapatistas captured a large number of Mexican soldiers.


FIGHT 1 - Location: Yucatan Jungles

Notes: Several Mexican companies hundreds of kilometers south of the battle surrendered this week.

Results:2 squads and a mortar for 8 squads, an MG, and a mortar.


Several Mexican Army units in the north are unaccounted for...


FIGHT 2 - Location: Northern Mexico

Combatants: 4th Army vs Elements of 2nd Mexican Army

Results: A company, 4 MG, 9 mortar, 2 Jeeps, and a Sherman for 58 squads, 11 MG, 4 AT, and 13 mortars.

FIGHT 3 - Location: Northern Mexico

Combatants: 78 Art Bgd, 4th Army vs 8th Inf Reg, 2nd Mexican Army

Results: 2 MG, 9 guns, and 3 Jeeps for 18 squads, 5 MG, 1 AT, and 4 mortars.

Notes: A pretty stupid decision, pure artillery vs infantry.

West: A battalion of the 155 Inf Reg peeled off to destroy a band of Mexican cavalry trying to escape south to the border before rejoining it's parent unitto support the 8th Amd Bgd's breakout attempt.


FIGHT 4 - Location: Colorado River, W of Phoenix

Combatants: 8th Amd Bgd & 155 Inf Reg, 4th Army vs 5th Eng Bgd, 8 ID

Results: Minimal losses, inluding 3 MG for 20 squads and an MG.


The Japanese somehow managed to land several thousand more men near San Francisco, but their attacks on the city have been mostly out of desperation and pose little
threat. While many are incensed at the thought of allowing the Japanese to occupy American soil, it will be safer to deal with them in a few weeks, once their supplies run out.

The 35 ID has been railed to western Nevada. Together with elements of the 4th Army they will hook around the Sierra Nevada and sandwich the Japanese in a pocket around San Diego.

South: Canadian tanks destroyed the recon battalion.

More troops, including Italians and German tanks, are pouring into Florida. The 70 ID will not be able to hold, but no reinforcements are capable of reaching Florida in less than 2 or 3 weeks.


FIGHT 5 - Location: W of Orlando

Combatants: 70 ID vs Secessionist Traitors

Results: Minimal losses for 36 squads, 7 AT guns/rifles, and 2 Stuarts.


A reconstituted tank brigade was sent to Memphis to give local forces an edge over all the German armor.

My recent breakthrough along the Mississippi seems to have forced the Germans to shift their focus south. The Das Reich escaped and is now leaving for Poland, but I still have nearly a full German division trapped near the Mississippi.
 

Their siege of Memphis has been temporarily abandoned as German tanks head down to relieve their friends.

Results: A full battalion for thousands of men.

FIGHT 7 - Location: N of Jackson

Combatants: National Guardsmen, a Marine regiment, & 1 Cav Bgd, 1 Cav Div vs 818 Art Bgd & 206 Inf Reg, 1 ID & 603 Art Bgd, 2 ID

Results: A moderate victory.

North: Several hundred German infantry and the Hungarian tank brigade that gave me trouble last week have been surrounded.


FIGHT 9 - Location: N of Lake Ontario

Combatants: MI Guardsmen, 51 Highlanders ID, & 1 Amd Bgd, 1st Hussars vs 57 Inf Reg, 97 ID & Hungarian tanks

Results: 3 companies, 11 MG, 4 AT, 2 guns, 13 mortars, 2 armored cars, and 3 tanks for a thousand men, 62 MG, 11 AT, 73 mortars, and 81 tanks.

Notes: All enemy units destroyed.

FIGHT 8 - Location: Montreal

Combatants: Canadians & Elements of 44 ID vs 59 Rcn Btn, 1st Italian Army, Montreal Garrison, & Elements of Hungarian 2 ID

Results: An incredible victory! The Hungarians poured into the city from nearby staging areas - it was a trap - but they were caught on the bridges and in the open by Allied artillery! Unfortunately, remnants of the die-hard German garrison still control much of the city.
