I'd wish to see pilot pool somewhere.
I'd wish to be able to manually allocate plane replacement, like what i could do in DTR.
Or at least a report or some statistic on the unit detail tab, showing how many planes/pilots were reinforced each turn/week? that could be very helpful. manually tracking it is annoying, not doing so is just a vague guess.
These ideas are very possible for the next series 1.07. Saved games will not work though.

Remove sudden death.
I like to try various strategies and not take a lot of notice of VP's
Perhaps it can be an option to play without it?
This is a good idea.
Or the ability to play beyond sudden death after you win or lose?

Will it ever be possible to have a version without the "sudden death" option but rather with a higher number of points to win? Historically it would be more realistic ... Thanks !

Yes that is a possible option. Any other options ideas?

Yes, another option would be to let "Bomber Command" (RAF) operate night strikes on Germany during the "Dday" period as was the case in reality ... The RAF bombers made few bombing raids on France in June, July and August 1944 but never stopped their raids on Germany !.

This is an easy fix. I need 2 other btr fans to chime in and I'll make it so.

So how about the need for some night bomb raids on French targets for RAF? So that they can not only bomb targets in Germany during the period?

There were no night raids on France during the war, as Sir W.Churchill was opposed to them and to night bombings in general. The main raids took place during the day and more particularly on the city of Caen in Normandy.

Sorry, this one was voted down by the development team, requiring some additional coding to modify scoring of BC terror raids during the Normandy campaign. BC would have to target oil or perhaps other critical industry in greater Germany to score points during this period. Good idea but this will have to wait.

Unless this is being sarcastic, its miles from the truth.
The RAF regularly bombed French targets by night, and many thousands of French citizens were killed.

The RAF mainly bombed submarine bases such as Cherbourg, Brest, La Rochelle, St Nazaire, Lorient then there were bombing raids on Caen, Rouen, Le Havre, Dunkirk during the Normandy landings. Many other bombardments took place but by the 8th AF. In all, 1,570 cities were bombed by the Allies between June 1940 and May 1945. The total number of civilian deaths is estimated at 68,778 which is "relatively" low compared to the bombing of Germany where the number of deaths is estimated at over 635,000.

I am not sure in what reference you are making this statement, but if it goes back to your original premise about BC daylight bombing and the Normandy campaign, you are way off base. Ever hear of Operation Crossbow? I refer you to the book Sledgehammers for Tin Tacks by Steve Darlow and for a complete chronicle of what BC was up to during the summer of 44, The Bomber Command War Diaries by Martin Middlebrook and Chris Everitt.

I'm only talking about the bombing of french cities, not military targets such as Operation Crossbow which targeted V1 and V2 sites. For information, during the operation Charnwood, the city of Caen saw 68% of its buildings destroyed I know the history of this region well, as several members of my family who lived there in 1944 were killed there.

Plus bombing of aircraft industries, railyards, transport networts etc, and given the accuracy of night bombing there was a lot of collateral damage.
From wiki
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_o ... rld_War_II
Between the time of the German victory in the Battle of France and the liberation of the country, the Allied Forces bombed many locations in France. In all 1,570 French cities and towns were bombed by the Allies between June 1940 and May 1945. The total number of civilians killed was, at least, of 68,778 men, women and children (including the 2,700 civilians killed in Royan).[1]
The total number of injured was more than 100,000. The total number of houses completely destroyed by the bombings was 432,000, and the number of partly destroyed houses was 890,000.

This has likely been brought up, but I would like to see an option of "amount of days since last photo" when autoplanning recon raids. I spend a lot of time going through autoplanned raids looking for ones thats had just been to the same target previously.
Also the ability to set the "max damage" setting to either 99 or 100. I could be wrong but if you damage something to 99% you then have to manually recon it to find that it is damaged to less then 91% before it can be targeted by auto recon.
Also a generic "industry" targeting option. Allowing me to set a range and then general "industry" as a target to allow me recon all the industry in say the Low Countries, I think this would work especially well with a "days since last photo" option.
