Turn 22 - end

I can say that snow is falling all around us. I have limited pleasure and fun though. Couple of attacks here, couple there. Generally speaking winter preparation, and I have to confess I am completely unprepared.

Turn 23 - end

Random weather strikes back.

According to the weather table blizzard was only in central zone. Looking at the map it seems true, it wasn't the case when it came to combat.

All over the front my forces where fighting in blizzard conditions. I lost morale point too.

Thing is blizzard in November shouldn't be (according to manual as sever as in next months).

Funny part - during Encircled's turn all battles that took place where suddenly happening in snow conditions.

I write this after couple of patches, and now all over the front my forces aren't affected by blizzard. Either problem with blizzard in November was solved or mutated into something else.

Btw, not much happened that turn.

Turn 24 - end

Last week of civilised winter. After facing very aggressive defensive campaign I dread even more terrifying offensive actions.

My only hope - snow in either Dec of Jan, was shattered. There is no equality it seems. Germans can have mud in July and Soviets won't suffer from Snow in initial blizzard turns. grrrr

My plan is simple - fight and then run.

Mega task deserves mega map.

Turn 25 - end

Blizzard starts.

In his previous turn Encircled approached my positions. I didn't want to be disrespectful and moved most of my reserves forward. I plan to hold on to first line as long as it is possible. I see no other choice, my defences posses egg like qualities - strong first line and than only thin air for a cover.

To remind, that I am still alive I made two attacks with mountain division. (both successful)

Turn 26 - start

Blizzard, Dec

I was attacked along whole front line. Moreover Encircled made amphibious assault west of Rostov - 2 Naval brigades. Good news is I control ports, so there are chances I will deal with this problem.

To be honest my troops performance surprised me. Out of 44 attacks Soviets won 27.

Turn 26 - end

Blizzard, Dec

Not too busy turn. I limited my actions to general withdrawal by 1 hex, plus 6 attacks - 2 Naval Brigades were destroyed. Apart from that - 2 wins and 2 losses.

Turn 27 - start

blizzard, dec 3/4

Another turn of pressure and my first line of defence is practically gone. Retreats and withdrawals force me to commit more and more panzers.

Soviet attacks: 23 sov - 10 ger

Thanks to my disorganisation I lost my end turn saves so I can't say how many attacks I made, but I always tried to remind about my existence.
