There was that night naval action where you got away from a large cruiser and destroyer force, and Tokyo Rose said I sank two carriers, a battleship and numerous cruisers and destroyers. I think I get points for those, don't I? [:D] Raiden refers to an attack on Rabaul where I lost a bunch of Kates.

4/28/42 An attempt was made to intercept my carrier force at Makassar.
Pretty lousy accuracy on that first go. That would not be good in a carrier battle.

Oh, and the crazy mistake a couple days ago. I had the Makassar troops coming down followed by a TF with Ryujo. I also had a TF with the other carriers followed by two TFs, one with Kongo and Haruna and one ASW TF. So I order the one with the carriers to meet and merge with the Ryujo TF. Are you laughing yet? [:D] Well when the merge occurred the BB TF and the ASW TF didn't know what to do. Both went off in different directions and hazardous ones at that. Both were low on fuel so they had to withdraw. [:@] I also had another BB TF waiting for the invasion TF but forgot to order it to follow. It just sat there. [X(][:@] Good thing Raiden didn't catch me in this disordered state with some heavies. [8D]
