Japan stratbombs Chungking for 2 pp.

Italy with German air help disorganizes Wawell HQ and traps and kill him some distance west of Alexandria.

Japan knocks out a Chinese Inf in the south and fails to affect the Communists in the north.

Germany shatters Russian Armor in the south and has Dnepropetrovsk almost completely surrounded. Breaks a hole in the north east of Smolensk.

Allied impulse 2 Sep/Oct 41 ( impulse # 3) Still fine weather everywhere

CW fleet arrives in E Med and finds the Italians.Italian Cruiser damaged and a Cruiser and convoy aborted. The CW Carrier Ark Royal was also aborted but the Italians ran from the sea area. Perhaps there is still time to hold out in Egypt.

From the West CW units take Tunis.

Russia Rails Stalino factory to Stalinsk and generally retreat in reasonably good order towards the cities and the next river line.

Japan knocks ahole in the southern China theater front destroying a Gar unit.

Germany Attacks on the north, central and south Eastern front in Russia. Dnepropetrovsk falls, A Russian Mech, 2 Inf and a CAv are destroyed.
Additional German units are speed walking towards the east front.

Italy rebases aircraft so they can continue to pressure the CW in Egypt after having been knocked out of supply there.

Allies impulse 3 Sep/Oct 41 ( impulse # 5 ) still fine weather everywhere

CW works to safeguard Egypt reestablishing supply there and attacking The Italian Inf in Alexandria. The Italians use emergency HQ supply making Alexandria much tougher.
The CW attack fails, all end up disorganized.

Russia rails Kharkov factory to Novosibirsk and have now withdrawn to save their armor, Mach, and HQ's behind the factory line cities that now have hero Inf units defending them.

The southern Chinese front has now been forced so far west that it is now out of the mountains.

Axis impulse 3 ( impulse # 6 ) still fine weather, this time a permanent summer it seems.

Japan takes a combined to ship projected needed troops to Canton to be ready for NEI operations in the near future. This done even though they have to forego more attacking in China this impulse.

Italy rebases aircraft to be able to project power to the E Med to reestablish supply there.

Germany attacks several places in Russia. Kharkov is attacked but to no avail, Germany lost an Engr and Div there, Russia lost a Mil. Several other Russian units were lost. Germany is now next to Kalinin, Kursk, Kharkov and Stalino.

Allies impulse 4 ( impulse # 7 ) Still fine everywhere

All pass for turn to end on a 3 or less. Roll 3 turn ends.

Just about a diametrically different Sep/Oct rurn. And the Sep/Oct run in 41 is crucial for the Germans to push and kill Russian units.

Axis win initiative for the No/Dec 41turn and to top it off the weather roll is a '1' fine weather everywhere again.

German takes a land, Italy combined and Japan a naval to get in position for the CW attack.

Italy regains control of the E Med knocking out a CW convoy and getting back in supply in Egypt.

Japan sails ships and sub's and amphs and Transports loaded with troops with an eye towards attacking on a large scale, even the China theater is seeing no action this impulse.

Germany ground strikes Bryansk, Kharkov and Stalino disorganizing 4 of 6 defenders.

Follow up attacks takes Bryansk and Kharkov as well as nearing Kalinin and Moscow. 5 Russian units destroyed.

Allies impulse 2 Nov/Dec 41 ( impulse # 2) Fine weather

CW stratbomb run on Stuttgart was aborted by a German ME110, but the Me110 was shot down.
Russian TB3 bmber ran the gauntlet past an Italian Fighter and managed to disorganize HQ Rommel and an Armor just east of Kharkov.

Kursk factory railed to Samarkand
Remaining CW units have formed a defense line in Egypt east of the Nile.

Japan DoW's the CW, US gets 3 more chits.

Japan and Germany land, Italy combined action.

Japan port attacks Singapore and sinks 2 Australian Cruisers and damages another one.
Japan invades Malaya, NEI near BAtavia, Rabaul, Tarakan and Balikpapan and Guadalcanal.

Germany attacks and takes Orel and Stalino, Kursk is attacked but holds with one uit left. HQ MAnstein reorganizes most of the German troops around Kursk
Germany lost a Div and a Mil. Several Russian units lost.

Italy reinforces Alexandria with unit shipped from Italy.

CW NAV abort Japanese Cruiser in Coral Sea.

Russia rails Moscow factory to Omsk. Troops try to get the protection of the next river line.

Things are really hotting up, but in Russia, senior German officers have noticed that the nights are getting very cold and the first flakes of snow are starting to fall. Some are starting to read about Napoleon's Russian campaign [:D]

Axis impulse 3 ( impulse # 5 ) Weather has changed to Blizzard and snow, bad everywhere.

In North Africa the CW has taken Tunisia and returned it to the Free French. They are nearing Tripoli which has 2 Italian Garrison units in a fortified position.
