CW resets the convoy defenses and searches in the Med fails to find the Italian convoys there.

Russia rails the Kursk factory to the east.

Shown is the Russian positions hoping for continuing winter weather slowing the Germans down.

Only one attack in bad weather in Russia. Gomel at +14 roll4 = 18 fell but all the German units are disorganized.

An almost surrounded Dnepropetrovsk only yielded a +3 attack so it will have to wait.

CW naval, Russia land, rest combined.

CW SUB sinks an Italian Convoy in Italian Coast, misses in E Med.
Russia manages to disorganize the OOS German Mech unit West of Stavropol and attacks it, Germany flies in ground support at extended range and chooses blitz to escape. The attack becomes +6 and the roll is 4. A Russian Inf is lost and the German Mech survives.

German ground strikes on Dnepropetrovsk with 2 bombers only disorganizes 1 of 3 units there.

German troops advance slowly eastwards from Smolensk and Gomel but no attacks in Blizzard and snow weather.

Japanese troops in Siam moves to the Malaya border.

The USA has not yet passed the war appropriations bill so Japan feels safe to delay attacking the CW awaiting better weather.

German SUB damaged in N Atlantic with no success against convoys. German ships in B Biscay fail to find in the Blizzard.

Turn did not end.

Jan/Feb 42 Allies impulse 3 ( impulse 15 ) Snow and snow

CW, Russ land, rest combined
Cw takes Vichy French Guyana and Guadeloupe.

Cw attacks and takes Tripoli using HQ support and shore bombardment. An Italian bomber got thru and the CW lost a Fighter downed by an Italian Fighter.

Russia backs off the Dnieper line and works to set up city defenses and the next river line to the east. A few units are stationed in the Caucasus.

Turn ends.

Mar/April 42 Axis impulse 1 continued

Germany finally takes Dnepropetrovsk after successfully ground striking three units there. 6 German units were disorganized though.

Rain in the north slowed the moves down and no attacks there.

In the Pacific Japan invaded Malaya from Siam and threaten Singapore. Invasions also near Batavia and in Tarakan and Balikpapan. Rabaul was taken as was Port vila. New Zealand was also invaded.
