The Russian Time Glitch machine that we saw last time in Stalingrad has been in play again! My troops are back at the beginning they were last turn, but arty plotting is unchanged. Some enemy units are still dead, while others are back.

We kill three AA guns in the flak park again, we secure the east-west road at Sumy again, but this time under heavy fire from the Mother Bug (a 76.2mm AA).

This time, a speeding 251 does NOT run head-on into a lurking Wolverine :p

Weird...

Jess "forgot" to mention that he lost a Wolverine during his turn..amongst other things... :p

My Tigers at Sumy are under fire from something HEAVY - it's not 76.2mm's, my guess is 90+ guns. Lots of them, I counted at least 15 shots!  Their accuracy sucks, tho', so it could even be KV-2's, hehe.

We kill yet another AA in the flak park. God does it ever end?! Hope this one was the last. A T-34 tried to sneak through and had a small skirmish with my de-gunned Tiger. The rest of the platoon rush to aid, and we could at least decrew the thing...

Two other T's are not so lucky, and are gunned down at the convenient range of 28 and 30 hexes, respectively. :D :D

In Prokhorovka a lurking KV-1 sneaks away... or did it? At hill 252,4 we spot and expected ATG and makes it bleed some.

Still no Tigers lost... :)

If it really turns out that Jessovinski is coming my way, I'll make sure to send a despatch to Doom saying that the road is clear... :D

I've taken up evening classes at the Uni. (Swedish Foreign Affairs and International Relationships - this should prove interesting), so I'm pretty exhausted.

I'll get back to all my games tomorrow.

Ahahahah Jess, how many tanks did you lose to Doom last turn? 10? :p I knew you had a good reason turning at me, you chicken! ;)

And if my Panthers are such wussies, how come it's your KV-1s that's ablaze and not my Kats? :D

The unidentified ATGs at Sumy continue to harass my flank guard despite my feeble attempts at a smokescreen (we have almost no arty available w/ smoke ammo). SEVENTEEN shots!

In the middle (n. of Cherkassoye), a T-34 has a fit of split personalities and goes into Tiger mode - and survives half a dozen direct hits from 88's! *boink* *blang* *boink*

...and at Prokhorovka, we kill the hapless 76.2mm ATG at the hill.
(and the "lost" KV-1 in Jess' turn)

A Battle Honor is awarded to Leutnant Krafft and his Tiger platoon - they now share 10 kills between them, with the #2 and #4 tanks having 4 scalps each.

Hey, we even have HT's with 4 kills! :D

It is on!

As the massive RED STEEL WALL advances there is little to see due to the smoke and the dust. We see little..a few long range pop shots are traded and the Inf is afoot. Scouts report a mass line of Tigers and Panthers in the south and Ferds with Stug support in the north..The German arty is hurting me and slowing down my counter-attack right off the bat.

The next turn should be a killer

Onward for the Motherland and our great leader..Comrade Stalin!

Rather uneventful turn. Almost no sight of enemies - is this the calm before the storm?

Not much to do, a Tiger wrestled with a Wolverine and came out on top. A Nashorn takes out a T-34 m42 with a single beautifully placed shot. :D The crew that flooded its Panther trying to cross the river has been busy with the pumps, so we're happy to note that it's feet dry and back in action. :)

And oh yeah - I found an excuse to put our over-paid Flieger boys at work. :p

Still waiting for this much-rumored steel avalanche....

Red Wave is still not to be seen.

We're advancing. Olga is strangely quiet (HA HA HA), but a pair of Red Army flyboys paid us a visit. No harm done but I fear our positions has become a very public affair....

Fighting is getting "close" - a T-34 m.42 headbutts an 88mm at a mere 32 hexes and promptly disintegrates from the impact. :p

Another Traktor dies in the east, as it's crew chickened out.
