No strategic bombing.

Germany, Italy and Japan make one ground strike each but all three fail to disorganize even one target. That the Stuka missed is what annoys me most.

Germany make two automatic attacks in France and one high odds assault that is a failure. [:(]

Germany create Army Mediterranean and transfer units to it at once and they rail to north Italy. Italy rebase a bomber to East Algeria. von Bock reorganize three units.

Edit: End of turn roll was a 3 so the turn continues.

Game continues to unravel for the Allies - all sides pass with a 40% chance of the turn ending but it doesn't and its back to the Axis.

Is it possible to show us a screenshot of Mediterranean (Tunisia, Algeria in particular) since the Axis seems to begin operations there ?

I like the Axis side so far event if their losses are a bit large in France and there is no possible Sea Lion now : maybe AH will regret his Off Chit and his nice armours against Uncle Joe.

Thanks for this nice AAR,
Julien

Sure.

I was unfortunately not able to move the territorial in Algeria this impulse due to action limits.

Italy take a combines while the others take land.

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

A Italian fleet sail out in the West Mediterranean.

No strategic bombing. No ground strikes.

Japan send an Army Group Westwards, towards Tianshui and Lanshow, in what appears to be some sort of encirclement manoeuvre? Meanwhile Italy moves in to attack Nice. Germany resume the assault on Metz and makes a attempt to capture Paris before the turn ends. Germany makes a couple of flank attacks as well.

Germany attacks BEF in a attempt to push them into the sea. But HMS Warspite sails into the English channel, with her guns blazing, in support of the British troops. Several more battleships follow HMS Warspite and their artillery bombardment wreak havoc on the German forces who push forward despite the bombardment.

If the fractional roll had been successful then Paris would have been captured. [:@]

And the low rolls continues but here CW might actually have wanted a higher result that just had retreated the mech. I, on the other hand, would have liked to stay organized if this turns out to be a long turn.

One of the two remaining German panzers, with support, make a automatic attack on a couple of, out of supply, French units. Germany then make their assault on Metz and at last the city is captured.

Italy, and Germany, draws a sigh of relief as a two was not rolled. Because then two Italian units would have been lost. The Italian High Command had already objected to this attack that was "suggested" by Germany and if the Italian losses had been high then that could have disrupted the German-Italian alliance. With that said it would have been truly nice if the Italian troops had stayed organized since there then had been a increased opportunity to overrun the Italian fleet. Capturing the French battleship Dunkerque had then been a possibility.

The turn could end on a three and it did end so this is yet another turn that gets fairly short. [:(]
