I will need to plug hole with stronger units while keeping my front line just west of moscow

Looks like a pretty easy blizzard season so far...figured with the losses you inflicted the soviets wouldn't be capable of much. The issue is the experience gain of only 1 per week without massive combat losses means it takes 3 months for new soviet forces to be somewhat combat capable. Will be a good new fix in the current new beta patch once its stable and the bugs worked out.

For now tho you get an easy chill winter....should set you up nicely for a really good 1942 spring/summer offensive.

Also is very telling of what the Germans can do.....you admit making some mistakes esp with the finnish yet are doing extremely well.....your situation in Moscow area would be much easier with that additional army placed more to the south if the finns had started moving earlier.

Very telling of what the Germans can do IF the Soviets make a big mistake. That said, it doesn't take away some very good moves by BrianG to exploit that mistake
