Crimea defense

The Units I saved from an Odessa City-Fort are now defending the gateway to the Crimea. I would much rather have my, up to 10 divisions, here defending then to be force surrender in Odessa. But again that is me. I will use City-Forts but I believe in the early game the Soviets are just self inflicting unit Surrenders to gain minimal advantage. Yes you may gain more against an inexperienced person not knowing how to attack a City-Fort but if you play someone that does it is just good money going after bad putting units there. I know many wont agree with this but that is how I am playing it. Of course I could be totally wrong.

This should be a multi turn clear of the swamps to even get across.

German war machine just getting into contact & these numbers are going to be going up quickly. This is just the calm before the grinding it looks like So far just been a game of move to contact next turn it becomes real I feel.

What can I say? Not much other than the Germans "own" the sky. Not much I can do but be shot down and slowly gain some good squadrons. Just a work in progress.

North (Real time updates)

Model Attacks again and is stopped on the Narva. M60 will appreciate that his forecast was correct so far on the Lagg -3 being a flying coffin. The Lagg suffered 2-1 vs other Soviet aircraft in this battle. But on the same token it really doesn't seem to matter what you throw at the Germans they are going to cut through them in the Air. These were all the Soviet High experience flyers. Oh well. Will just swamp the Germans with numbers I guess

Pskov

The Germans have secured the Pskov valley, what I call it marked by yellow. The Germans also firmly secured a foothold across Lake Pskov/Peipus.

Smolensk Area

Germans slowly grinding in this area. One of my strongest areas on the map based on Moscows importance. You can tell by the infantry strength. Soviets air groups getting massacred here to.

Bryansk (real time update)

Color show on counter is supplies(from all the attacks but will keep an eye on it). Breakthrough to the south of Bryansk. Orel front left and all counters are white. This will convert to Reserve front this turn(I have the central front too).

Lots of German infantry on the front. I really don't put much value on CAV as infantry & thus these 3,000 man Cav divisions are the perfect sacrificial lambs. Germans seemed to stop and surround them. Fine by me.

Cav divisions aren't what they were in WITE1.

Germans just blowing everything away in front of them. Germans surround another CAV Division here. Soviet Air getting blown out of the sky. Guess I will just throw more airplanes at the problem ;-P
