We also don't have Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin or Ted Stevens. We're doomed, DOOMED!
I thought that you repudiated any political discussion on the Thread? I also notice that everyone that you listed came from the right side of the spectrum.Don't you dislike any center or left wing commenators/pols? [&:]
I didn't mention any because I don't know any. Other than Jon Stewart, of whom I am a fan.

I see nothing wrong or political about this post. I mean, since they are all cartoon characters...How is that political???[:D][:D][:D]

Yeah....the rest of the party calls us "Rhino's". They think we are a mythical beast. [:D] Except the day after an election day. [:D]
Steve, the immeasurable quantity. [:D]

I sure wouldn't call Jon Stewart a media centrist. He's a converted comedian who is fortunate enough to be the recipient of a well-run comedy news show. His views are decidely left of center. The Colbert Report is a bit more centrist, but still left of center.ORIGINAL: Terminus

If you want a list of political hacks on the left, I can PM you a list as long as my arm. They're aplenty. You can start with our newly elected Minnesota US Senator, Stuart Smalley. [8|]

As a non-political public service , I'll give some names of left or center commentators (or at any event, non-right wing). Chris Mathews,Joe Scarborough,Rachel Madden,Lou Dobbs,Tom Shales,Joy Behar,Bill Maher (yes, I know that he claims to be a humorist, but so is Jon Stewart) Keith Olberman and Anderson Cooper. I'll let you figure who stands where ,but you shouldn't have any trouble seeing video's of all of the above (I didn't list any print media) and there are many, many more. Just because FOX gets something like 75% of the American viewership, we should not forget that there at least 8-10 other networks out there.
I mention these , not as an endorsement (as a person entrenched firmly in the center I've not been able to recommend anyone since Harry Reasoner and Eric Severide passed on.) but just to make it easier to hear other opinons. If you'd like more, please feel free to E-mail me (my email is on the profile page, or find me as log in name at Yahoo.com). [:)]

Maher is still around? I thought he quit years ago?
All the names you list are familiar to me, but only by reputation. Aside from Olberman, who's an <expletive deleted>.
Stewart is most definitely not centrist. He's a leftist, even if he's not the pinko-commie that Beck would like him to appear as. Kudos to Bill O'Reily for saying that on his show.
