Hi all,

Wife exclusively irons at home... and she cooks 99% of time... all other things we mostly share (but I only hoover the apartment, take the garbage out and clean the bathroom)...
Your wife is either a) charmingly old fashioned or b) doesnt trust you to boil water without hurting yourself. [:'(]
Many women in the US (at least what I notice in my age group) have slightly different thoughts on the matter.
Are you saying that many women in USA don't want to iron and clean?
Who does that then?
Leo "Apollo11"
P.S.
Wife is a doctor (M.D.)
Not unless they are former military! You've got to be a "vet" to properly "field-day" a house, or put proper "military wrinkles" in a shirt![:D]

There's no shame in replying to one of his posts.....unless of course you were
serious in your reply? [&:][X(][8|]

We sure do! Our maid's named "Steve"![:D]

All who don't take themselves too seriously are very welcome here. [8D]
I'm glad I didn't bring up what is really bothering me then. Stephen Hawking's warning that we shouldn't be contacting Aliens.

LOL.... I saw a link to that story on another news site, but didn't yet follow it. Going to read now. [:D]

A wise man, Dr. Hawkings.......too many people have thought "1st contact" would be "ET-ish" or like "Close encounters". I've always steered more towards "Independance Day" or better yet . "Mars Attacks!". [:D]
We have too much of a "Star Trek" view of potential aliens. But even that franchise is becoming more realistic. The 1st year of "Enterprise" seemed to be alternating between "please don't hurt us" and flipping off the Vulcans![:D]

Ours is named "Mike", but she's not very good at housekeeping. (And not very attractive, either) [:D]

And of course he was wrong! But you can't help him! He wears the wrong shade of blue (if at all). Everyone knows he should be playing "Tank commander " or something! [:D]

It's not that my wife won't do house work, it's that she shouldn't. She's a magnificent cook (far better than me, so we share, who ever gets home 1st-usually me--cooks). But laundry and ironing, well that's a very scary subject. [X(]

I'm in the Fox Mulder camp on this. They are here and the government knows it.

As long as you don't accidentally get troll spores on you and take them home. Nothing worse than an infestation of meeting trolls in your house.
