Not sure I understand the question. [&:]
What do Russian people of May 2010 think about American and other Western troops taking part in the Victory Day parade?
Well... the officials removed Stalin's pictures from banners before the event... it was rather huge scandal before the parade...
BTW, what I saw on the "Russia Today" (Russian Satellite channel with news in 100% full American English) - the responses were very positive (they interviewed the citizens, bystanders and veterans alike)!

A spambot wanted to sell me some "Canadian Viagra" in my inbox yesterday. I wonder what makes it uniquely Canadian?
It makes your little friend stand up and say "Ehhhhh"? [:D]

I'll be taken down my desk top PC today so they can move it. I'm not sure about my wife's lap top and connectivity , nor what I'll have for INTERNET capability for the next couple of weeks, sooooo.......I thought I'd say to by Thread brothers , See you in a couple of weeks. I hope that your days are sunny and pleasant, may your in boxes be filled with turns and not spam, and may you be victorious in your PBEM's and games. Stay well my brothers, and I'll try to touch base with you when the INTERNET gods permit. [:)]
Chickenboy, I very much looking forward to our grand campaign. I'll be ordering a new carving set from Sur-la-table and new "chicken" cookbooks from Amazon. [:D] Maybe I'll serve something from it if you still want a August "mid-America" WITP summit![:D]

My very loose understanding of "Russia Today" is that it is a Russian government mouthpiece, exclusively funded by the government as a means of 'message development' for the English speaking audience. In my opinion, it bears little semblance to anything that the 'average Russian' of today feels about anything.
