It appears that the US army is planning a massive Winter offensive in China. It's a two pronged attack who's ultimate goal will be Shanghai and the liberation of Central China. He has massed his forces at Hangchow in the south and outside of Tientsin in the north. Hopefully he will be ground down in the trenches of the glorious Imperial Army and by the bad weather.

With the fall of Hangchow the Japanese conquests in China are diminishing. He has pushed his North China army to the gates of Tsingtao which will fall in the coming day's. As you can see from this map Foochow has been surrounded and under siege for months. Will the IJA be able to hold onto Shanghai? We shall see as the Allied Winter offensive continues.

Kaifeng has fallen to the US Army. The dreams of a greater Japanese Empire in China seems to be vanishing as the Americans have taken most of what was left in a lightening offensive through central China leaving us with a couple of enclaves to defend against a Massive US China Expeditionary force. Here's the current situation after the battle of Soochow.

I knew he was gonna try and sink the convoy I got into Shanghai with vital supplies that will be needed for the battle about to start there he instead engaged a rather strong surface force I had lurking there for him. The naval battle of Shanghai saw alot of hits scored on both sides causing considerable damage to both fleets but no clear victor as no ships have sunk yet.

A slow turn really mostly Artillery barrages for everybody. There was a minor skirmish up in Manchuria by one of my "Armed" Road repair battalions that's been fighting a losing battle in the northern reaches of the place for months. Underneath those clouds you can see whats left of my Manchurian conquest [:)]

It appears he was hoping to bag my fleet at Shanghai but only managed to sink a couple of junk patrol boats from Tsingtao and a couple of trashed freighters. He did find a nice surprise awaiting him at Osaka though

I kinda laughed when the BB Kentucky and assorted entourage showed up at Tuguegarao to destroy my convoy that resupplied the place they got out before he could sink em. I just want to point out that his blimps operating in Korea have an eye on all the comings and goings from the home islands so anybody out there who plans on playing the Japanese make sure you defend Korea. Christmas Eve falls on 1923 and it looks like we got a long war to go how long will the American public put up with the losses?
