And then that Jap carrier near Rabaul puts together a raid on Rabaul. Maybe that's just one carrier and with it using up all it's sorties on
Rabaul it might be that I can sneak up on this one carrier and blast the daylights out of it. I'll have to see what I can put together.

I'm probably moving TF 72 the wrong way. I thought that maybe I should go protect the Miri area some more because I have reason to
believe that Elmer will just regroup and try it again. We've twarted his first attempt to take Miri but I'm thinking he'll be back.

The Centaur got torpedoed so I'm cruise-speeding her to the nearest port.
EDIT: Yeah, I know, the image below shows Mission Speed, but I changed it to Cruise 'cause the ship is broke.

I've got a TF taking fuel out to Diego Garcia. I need that fuel there because I have a KV that's stuck in Mambasa coming this way and he
might be really low on fuel when he gets to this area. Diego was made to refuel ships. I'm working on the port and the airbase because
I want to make this one of the hubs eventually. Until the goodies run out in Africa, then this place will be just another backwater.

I've seen reports that state that Japanese planes struck targets at or near Shortlands so I'm guessing that Tulagi is the safer of the two
bases to drop off the 11th Australian Rgt. Tulagi doesn't have an airport yet so I'll have to find some engineers somewhere to volunteer
for working on the airbase here. Pay them enough money and they will. Money works everytime. Always has, always will.

I had my CV's sitting on Wake before this image was taken and the Jap AI wanted on Wake too and there was a surface conflict and one
of my CV's got some damage but both sides backed off it looks like.......I'm no longer on Wake and neither is Elmer. There were some
air strikes after this battle but I digress.

And then the next thing that happened was this air strike on Kuantan:

And then my boys tried an air strike of their own but it didn't do much good.

And then there were a bunch of sub attacks and some more air strikes on Kuantan and then my carriers got an air strike off and it hit the
jackpot.

And then my B-17's still in the PI try a raid on Bubble Drop. No losses but no damage either.
