An Arty strike to soften up the target a bit.

Still pounding away at the NVA near the DMZ

Attack on two VC units in the same hex. Results indicate some stiff VC units.

I stopped the NVA turn to grab some screenshots of the losses and while I was there I thought I'd get a threat picture from the NVA POV.
Here's where the bad boys are.

And the NVA shells me w/ arty, mortar, and rockets. I'd move that dude but he's in garrison mode right now. The NVA will probably kill
him before he can move.

And the NVA bulls their way into Dong Hoi and attacks my Marines:

Um.....I've seen at least two attacks involving the Cobras where of the 30 involved in the attack about 10 of them were shot down. So I've
been laying low w/ the choppers since then. They are resting now to get back into combat ready status and I expect to be able to use
them in about two turns.
No Huey losses. Are airmobile troops taking ground fire as they fly over enemy units?

A new turn a new threat picture. I'm going to have to do this one in parts. The area around Saigon is so crowded I'm going to do that
one in a separate post.

Um......I haven't seen an example of where they were shot at as they flew over however I did discover an enemy unit by flying over it. I'm
guessing they have been shooting but haven't hit anything yet. I'll keep an eye peeled to watch for an example of where they get shot
at.

Here's the theater options available and I'm looking sharply at the early Vietnamization option. The Vietnamese divisions are so
unreliable and undependworthy that I'm thinking that option might not be such a good deal but during the late game period I can
see how every little bit helps.

I was moving some engineers by boat from Doc Pho to Da Nang and as it sailed close to the shore a VC unit showed up. This is one
adventuresome VC unit. He must have come ashore from the sea after having sailed south from Dong Hoi.

Here's an attack on the third element of the 3rd VC regiment. Which means there's two other elements out there somewhere.

And a VC unit attacks some of my ARVN Rangers. This is how air support is supposed to work. Yessssss.

The EEV value is up to at least 30. When it reaches 100 the Allies start the involuntary pull out.

A new turn and a new threat picture:
EDIT: The picture started to look "busy" so I thought I'd break it into two parts this time:
