In Egypt the Italians have knocked out almost all the Cw defenses and tha Japanese just sank the CW convoys in the Red Sea that kept the units in Egypt in supply. The CW earlier had taken Syria and returned it to the Free French.

Now the Indian Mech and A Territorial in one stack and a South African Inf are left out of supply near Cairo.

ND41 impulse 3 ( # 5 ) weather has become full winter in Russia

Allies impulse 3 ( Impulse # 8 ) Winter continues. CW desperately needs to reinforce and resupply Egypt. Cw combined and all others pass for 30% end of turn chance.

CW rebases a convoy from South Africa sea area to Aden so it can be used next turn to supply Egypt via the Red Sea. Another fleet sails from Gibraltar with an Amph loaded with an Inf and a convoy and several combat ships. They go to the E Med 0 box. Italy searches and finds them but only manages to abort the Amph which goes to Port Said. Follow on rounds fail to find and the supply is at least temporarily back for the units in Egypt.
The turn does not end it rolled a 6.

Axis impulse 3 ( impulse # 5 ) Weather has changed to Blizzard and snow, bad everywhere.

What did I tell ya? Those German generals are now making urgent enquiries to the Reich about winter clothing. German troops are commandeering civilian clothes and even tablecloths in an attempt to keep warm and have some camouflage in this snowy landscape. They no longer look like the proud Herren that invaded the Soviet Union. This "Summer" campaign was supposed to have been over weeks ago [;)]

Italy fails to destroy the CW supply line to Egypt and moves land units nearer to Cairo.

Germany attacks and takes Kursk with no losses but at Ryazan loses a Gun, Inf, and Arm while taking out the city defenses and entering the city.

Germany sends 2 SUB's to B Biscay looking for CW convoys but both are sunk with no losses for the CW, only 1 Cruiser aborted.
Japan attacks Kweiyang with Engr and HQ support against HQ Stillwell and a Mil wit Defensive HQ support. City taken but the Japanese Engr is lost nd the defenders are only shattered.

Italy SUB sinks a CW convoy in West Med, putting CW units in Egypt again out of supply. Storms make Cairo safe even so for now.

Japan sends long range NAV to Truk.

CW updates their sea lane supports and convoy lines.

Egypt is again in supply, new CW convoys with escorts in both the W Med and Red Sea gives supply from two directions.

USA has a small chance of DoWing japan but will wait a little longer.

Axis impulse 2 Jan/Feb 42 ( impulse # 7 ) Blizzard still all over Europe

Italy tightens up their front on the Nile and add a Bomber to the area.

Japan cannot move to the cost very well in China in blizzard and storm, instead they were able to catch and kill Chiang HQ near Kweiyang.

Turn could have ended but did not.
