The Old One here makes the absolute WEAKEST coffee in the universe ...
I have to arise at 5:30a.m. to beat her to the brewer, to be able to brew coffee w/ REAL taste
(not the "brown water" she prepares for herself) ...

I guess when you only 70lbs and 96,000YO, coffee is pretty strong if it isn't transparent!
<sigh>

Coffee? Did someone say coffee? Good god man! Are you ill? This is a civilised tea thread, we don't have time for coffee drinkers here! Now be off with you before I call the mods.

This thread seems to have fallen and can't get up. Must be the hot weather.

Coffee never touches the stuff.
My girlfriend drinks it black but otherwise couldn't care less if it has stood for days and is reheated. Will drink any brand, just as long as it is served black. Although I'm used to coffee drinkers being a very fussy bunch.

I don't tea either.
My thing is good quality hot chocolate.
Or good quality hot apple cider.
Or drinks that are brutally sour.

How about a lemon, yellow or green varity (I prefer the green) which you cut up and then pour boiling water over it. A quart or a litre, repeat once more. Drink it cold with no sugar. Then eat the cooked fruit - including the rind.

Hot chocolate with creme de menthe - and not the kind from the grocery store either!

Coffee with Bailey's and Kahlua when it is a nice -20 or -30 degrees outside, then come in and consume that to warm up.

Other people though had a tea party. Some of them even played dress up.

So I emerged from the Batcave yesterday to do my weekly shopping in Tesco's. Left with some Yorkshire Gold and Mr Kipling's Lemon Slices amongst other goodies. Anyone for a brew and a slice?

Best wishes,
Steve

Just brewed a pot of evening tea, and pondering on my moves in MWIF. Life is indeed good. At least this moment is. [:D]

I would not mind tea with honey. Honey could sit on my lap . . . [;)]

Went to the tea shop yesterday to restock. Bought almost 1 kg of tea. Time to brew a pot from the new stock. Anyone want a cup? I got some honey on the side. [:)]
