Seems like the warm-up is over and we're about to start fighting for real! About time.
In the east, north of Prokhorovka, large amounts of Red armor has materialized itself. We have visual on at least 15 tanks, T-34s and M3 Lees (M4 wannabes).

Word goes down the entire front and the line slowly starts pivoting clock-wise.... Brace for impact!!
We're ready.
Panthers duel with the enemy vanguard, multiple hits are scored but their 75mm gun seems unable to penetrate, even at under 10 hexes.
Good news in the west! We have located the unknown source of fire - it's a battery of 120mm mortars! 4 or 5 of them along with the Mother Flak (which is now as good as dead).

Excellent, our flank will be secured in just a turn or two!
Doom, if you find yourself out of arty targets (likely, hehe), look due east and south... :p
Yep I see them Herr Sud

Bels Tigers on the very west edge come under yet more Olga direct as he foolishly tries to close the gap!
Due East! Bigass tank fight as 100s of T34s close in on the Panthers! Kills both sides!
North
LG ATGs pin and wound many of Dooms Monsters! no kills:mad:
"The Hill" the one with the long trench behind it..yep thats the one Don...Millions of T34s pour out of the trench and take Doom under fire...Kills....both sides!
Olga (or what is left of those sexy mommas fires away at both flanks!
For Mother Russia..For Olga...For the love of all that is Mighty!!

My Tigers are all still alive, aren't they?
Jess has one Olga less to care about - I flambéed it.
The Red Air Force made several futile attempts at denting my Katz, with a single 251 as the only victim. Nyah nyah! :p
Northeast of the western mortar park we find more tanks and snaps a few shots at them. At least we made the infantry walk...our infantry is not walking anymore, but running to keep up with the armor. Should have made them get back into the HTs...hmm...
Far East, the situation is looking grim. Lots and lots of tanks and infantry - and they're getting close! So far the standoff has yielded acceptable results - 5 or 6 lost russkie tanks for a single Panther. We bolster our defenses and bring up some more guns from the rear, hoping to hold back the Red Steel as long as possible. (read: until we get in range with 2 companies worth of Tigers.

...at the munitions factory! Even 88's can't kill a T-34 from 4 hexes! That's a whopping 216 pen for the AP ammo. T-34s goes *boink*. :p I don't have to mention that Panthers can't do better, right?

So, in face of the big steel rush from the north and our inability to dent the russians (and vice versa heheh), we resort to intimidation.
Every available gun of any caliber is brought to bear on the Red tanks, hoping that the crews will become shaken enough to forget all about shooting. (We now face in the order of 8-10 T-34s in a area 7 hexes wide and 4-5 hexes from us.

)
And oh yeah - we heard something about Olga singing, and she sure did! A shame that her aim is just as good as her singing! I think one single shell hit our positions. Nah nah nah naaaah naah
The Olga park at Sumy is a burning inferno.

The advance up the middle goes smooth, and we're now inside that Olga park as well. A whole set of neatly lined up T-34s behind it are now acting as guiding lights for my Tiger Company.
This turn, the Kampfgruppe's kills amount to:
4 T-34 m.43
1 M3 Lee (or was it Grant?)
4 Olgas (120mm mortars)
1 Truck, along with its ammo cargo
1 badly mauled 76.2mm ATG
and a chunk of infantry
Own losses: 2 SdKfz 251's dead, a PzIII and a quad AA immobilized
Nord front.

We have destroyed two more 120mm's positions. 4-5 squads are now working in our stalag's. A T34 is running.
The town of Logov is just about our's.

With great respect
