• The convoy continues to be free of contacts (no DL). APD's that just brought BB's to San Francisco will head on an intercept course to join escort.

• Yorktown is moving a little faster than anticipated and is now 2 hexes past Malden Island.

• The position of KB1 is uncertain and likely accounted for a Catalina I lost today. Our subs in the Solomon Sea saw a lot of action.
• There is a convoy 2 hexes past Port Moresby - heading either for Terapo or Horn Island (less likely). We have flown in most of a squadron (10 of 12 planes were ready) of Vildebeest's to PM and set them and the fighters to 3 hexes range. If the convoy goes to Terapo we might get a good shot in.
• There is a cruiser TF (CA Kako encountered above) heading into the Coral Sea. Our supply convoy almost completely unloaded but will surely get destroyed tomorrow. So the Am and empty xAK have disbanded into the anchorage where they will be joined tonight by the xAKL when it finishes throwing cargo off the desk. The three large subs all unloaded and are heading back to Townsville for another load.
• The 223 Group RAF air HQ and the 1st Port Maint Eng Bn are fully airlifted in to PM (1 day ago). Beginning tomorrow the DelMonte Base Force will be airlifted in (with 4x PBY-4 squadrons flying that should take 1 or 2 days).
• Even though KB1 is known to be in or near the Solomon Sea there were "Heavy Volume of Radio transmissions" at Truk, so I presume more invasion operations for this area are getting underway.

• Modest but good results for the enemy.
DEI, Dutch new Guinea, Borneo, Malaya
• Lots of air strikes against Imperial convoys in eastern DEI waters but no hits were had.
China
• 4 Imperial units at Changsha with two more seen on the way. Our troops did withdraw successfully into Hengyang. We should have some delay time here while other units get to other defensive positions.
• Units have been ordered to eventually get behind those Imperials heading west off the Ankang road. As other undead arrive they will be detailed to other areas.

IJN activity around the Solomon Sea. The convoy heading for Terapo scouts as 8 ships, 3x CM, 1x xAK. Near Fergusson island 4 ships, 2x CL, 2x CA, moving west. Near Gasmata a convoy heading east. Near Cape Gloucester a convoy heading northeast. A convoy at Dagua.
KB1 is either in the Solomon Sea of just outside it near Green Island.

• Our plans went awry. Not to worry, a team of navigators is looking for awry so we can locate our plans there.
Despite having two Catalina I groups searching over Terapo we do not have contact with the convoy there. Worse, as fate would have it KB1 passed through the Jomard Passage and is 3 hexes from Port Moresby, the same distance from Port Moresby to Terapo and corresponding to the maximum range orders given the Vildebeest group. Likely land based Zero's swept before other air action.
KB1's passage was not quiet.
• 4x B-26 squadrons and 3x P-39D squadrons (plus an HQ Sqn of each) have landed at Melbourne where they will make ready and continue their training. Of course they are now available for the Port Moresby meat grinder.

I just go with plain text files for those things. At any rate I have read through it, I was just thinking searching through it over the course of time would be easier in a text file. Soon I'll be getting more undead units and I plan to send them south to crawl around the Imperial LOCS.
Still mulling what to do with the troops that would have gone to PM. Samoa is another possibility.
