The mod itself is included in the game, if you go to Settings -> Mods hopefully you'll be able to see various IronX mods as options to select?

Not for me in War In Europe (I don't have World at War).

Can you check that you're playing the most recent version?

Reason for asking is that it was included with the last patch, so when you start the game and go to the Main Menu, if you are up to date it should show v1.24.01 in the bottom right hand corner.

No It was version 1.24.01.

Eventually my problem is solved after installing community patch; Iron Cross is here and what a change

i am new here and my Prob is that My Strategic Command WW 2 by Steam has the Version 1.15 , how can i Uodated the Game to the newest Version ? When i look in Steam ,
the Option stand on updated ever to the newest Version , whats wrong ?

The game should automatically update itself via Steam when new patches are released, and 1.15 is the latest version so you are up to date.

Thanks Bill for the fast answer, when the 1.15 is the newest Version how i can use the Ironcross mod i see that Mod in the Gamechanges but i cant use them , i cant aktiväte the Mod , and a downloadlink for the Mods i cant find so i think the mods must be in the Game by the newest Verson or i am wrong

From the Main Menu go to Settings -> Mods

Place a tick against the Iron_Cross_Mod option at the top, and make sure the other counter mods are not selected too.

It's also a NATO counter mod, so it will not work if you have 3D units selected via the Options screen.

Two little questions

-The Iron Cross Mod available ingame seems to be the v4 version if I am not wrong, but the one in this site seems to be 4_7 but it is not available anymore to download because we have it present into the official game bundled with the community pack. I am running the GOG version, up to date. Is it correct?

-Also, for me, the terrain does not look like in the screenshots it looks much more washed out, foggy white. I guessed that it was something weather related but that washed out look is common in all the world map and in every scenario launched. Any advise?

There should be nothing stopping you from using 4.7 after downloading it from here.

Just place the contents here:
C:\Users\[your user name]\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\Mods

The washed out look comes with the mod, but you could always remove the various map related files from the mod if you would rather the normal look. In which case it might be best to download 4.7, rename the folder as something else, e.g. Gudadantza1, and then remove files.

Place the modified version in the same place as I have indicated above.

Hopefully all will then work and look as desired too!

The matter is that I can`t find any link for the 4.7 version, in the first post apparently it does not exist

It's included in the Mods for the game. Go to Settings, Mods and check it on.
