Thank you!

But the units can train up to 50 experience or the land (for land units) rating of the commander of the unit, whichever is higher. But even a few turns can help, the longer the better. The higher the experience level, the better the unit performs in combat.
It's fascinating how slow WiS is. But that's also what is making much more manageable. Of course, I would prefer that my BB Jaime I would heal more than a point of damage every week in Odessa...

Rep SS inserts 37 shells into a NAT convoy.
NAT Zaragosa is starting to fold, we're attacking with 12:1 odds.
NATs are pushing heavily towards Santander, I'm having to scramble.
The first NAT bombardment of Madrid - strictly civilian casualties, but none of my AAs react.
The NAT stack by Oviedo is delivered a crushing blow.
The final battle of REP Huelva garrison - 50 days is an amazing track record. Even Gibraltar lasted less.

The toughest situation is near Santander. NATs are pushing heavily from the south, and I don't have many troops in the area. Oviedo group is resting after their major victory, but a couple of 2nd line regiments are on the way. My Espinoza group is finally making motions - they were sitting on a huge supply stack, soaking up artillery barrages but slowly growing and resting. Now they will strike west. I also need to deal with that NAT stack by Bilbao - somehow their inferior troops keep hurting my much stronger troops.

REPs take Zaragosa.
NATs increase strategic bombardment of Madrid.
REPs spawn a unit in Ibiza - this will be interesting.

Therefore, REPs have two choices. One, to link up with the Northern troops. Another, to reconnect with Madrid.

The first one is more logical - to ensure that there's no encirclement. The second one is safer - supplies are running dry despite our nonstop convoys even Barcelona is wiped.

P.S. But across Santander - Bilbao - San Sebastian I have 300K of supplies. The Blue arrow it is.

NATs don't challenge my fresh ownership of Zaragosa or Grenada. Their attack from Cordoba towards Linares fails at first, but they keep pressing on; I'm sending the more capable units from Granada to the north. The same with Santander, my better-recovered regiments turn eastwards. On the water, my machine-gun patrol boats corner 2 transports in the Med and send at least 92 NAT squads to the bottom of the sea. NAT bombers keep terrorizing Madrid's civilian population. I am setting my PAT and LB plane heights lower for more casualties (on both sides).

We finally take Caceres and we're commencing cleanup. About half of NAT units in the area seem to have invisible, so we're sticking to holding as many bases as we can and denying supply to the enemy. There's NAT activity in the area, but it seems haphazard. Then again, they may be tired. I have a unit that went all the way down to 3 morale in all these nonstop battles. Anyways, we're about to have a railroad from Madrid to... well, kind of nowhere, as Huelva, Sevilla, and Cordoba are all NAT-held. But hey, one victory at a time!

NATs south of Granada are peacefully hanging around. We're bombarding them every now and then.
The real battle is shaping up to be west of Linares. We have troops there, but they aren't the best, so we are sending more.
I'm not sure why NATs are moving some troops west by Cordoba. Are they escaping back to Portugal already? Or does AI also have a concept of healing battered units?

Thank you. I just don't know where they are going. If it was to Cordoba, then a'ight, we're healing. But further west? Then again, I got a NAT unit in Malaga that's been chilling in the same spot for 2 weeks.

It's a real NAT zerg rush on Santander-Bilbao. I can't pull away San Sebastian troops, as they got their own wave inbound. Oviedo is sending a few regiments east to help out Santander. Espinosa remains a thick REP chunk that is trying to do a couple of hits here and there.

REP Navy has a field day by Ceuta - 4-5 kills, 2 captures. NATs keep torturing REP ships by Gijon. The number of captured ships in this campaign is very interesting. How did I lose an AK just off of Gijon?...

Santander is currently the toughest spot for me. NATs are coming in from every angle. They bypassed by honey trap by Espinosa, they ignored the city of Torrelavega - in other words, they are not going for supplies, they are going for the jugular. This will be interesting.

NAT planes terrorize the Bay of Biscay.
30 brave REPs are retaking the rich beach resorts of Ibiza for the working class (they spawned there, slowly took 2 unattended bases, and now they are going to turn replenishment on... it was only 3 squads to start).

With Zaragossa, I think it will be easier if you surround the city and control all the hexsides....but either way, with a 5-1 attack that turn, it's gonna fall shortly

Losing it is a major hit for the Nationalists, and should open the door for you to join-up with the Republic del Norte

REPs chase down a few NAT transports and take a couple of hulks as prizes.
German AK receives 302 machine gun shells - 40+ squads to Valhalla.
Decoys are deployed in the North - they will help NATs in the long run through extra XP, but for now they will distract bombers from heavily-laden transports.
More REP ships are sent away to repair at Odessa.

Fortunately, Zaragosa is mine. It was a tough battle, requiring 4 days of full rest during which time NATs were able to evacuate their battered units and send in quite a few new ones. This turn, we're going to expand in every direction from the city. Oh! And 3 Menorca batteries are coming up the river with additional supplies to feed my monstrous stack. I literally pulled every man from the Pyrenees to near Cartagena over here.
