Don't overload airfields.
Don't have all of your carriers in one TF. Only have 2 or even 1 in a TF at this time.

The US CVs are officially out of the war. Lexington will need yard time and she is too big for Sydney (at least I think she is). Enterprise and Hornet can escort troop transports if needed but I am done with offensive action. CAP can't even push aside 20 lousy Nells. Torpedo aircraft are no way near vulnerable enough in this game. The remainder of Wasp's air group did land so I guess I bought some naval attack forces to use
#$%& ME!!!
Your CAP was too high. They were defending against dive bombers but not torpedo bombers. You need to have at least some fighters lower down.

All airfields are at or below stacking capacity with AS at or above what is needed. My CVs were in two TF with two carriers in each TF
Only thing is cap was set at 15k universally. Should have had a squadron or two lower in hind sight

If you have to lose a pre-war carrier, Wasp is the one to lose. She's pretty small compared to the others.

The Japanese are trying to interdict shipping around Dutch Harbor and Unmak Island without much effect other than attritting away their air assets. I need to establish a front where there is daily contact to begin whittling down the pilots of both IJN and IJAF. Never thought this would be the place
Things have suddenly gone quiet in China. The big blob of IJA units that was pushing it's weight around up north has disappeared. Wondering if it is just pulling back for refit or moving to another locale. We will see I guess
Palembang finally fell three to four months later than expected.

Larry snuck a SCTF and roughed up two small convoys. The merchies are no big deal. The escorts can be replaces as the SCs start arriving. I had all my PTs covering Unmak in anticipation of another bombardment run. Now have PTs at both bases. I have several Vindicator squadrons that have pilots with decent skills. Wondering if I should move them up here to help with the antishipping role. I know they are pretty bas when there are fighters nearby but every little bit helps

Haven't posted because there is very little going on.
The last of Burma Corps will reach Chittagong next turn of the turn after. They will move to Calcutta for R&R
IJA is chasing units around Southern Sumatra after Palembang's fall. Just mopping up at this point
Supplies are flowing into Milne Bay and Terapo via Air, Fast Transport, and submarines. Both hexes are free of "!" for low supply for now. Unit marching from PM to Terapo. May need to arrange my Medium Bombers to make their trip more fun
Lugainville is now well defended with the entire 1st Marines and support. AB is already Level 3 with fighters Based there. Efate is also building up but not as rapidly. Fighters there will eventual move forward. There is a series of dot bases and small undeveloped bases all the way to Ndeni. That is my plan. Build each one up and then hop forward. No CVs needed
Large stack of IJA spotted building up East of Haiphong/Hanoi area. Pulling some units back so they are not so exposed. Reinforcements on the way. Suspect a drive on Nanning is in the offing
IJN CVs spotted SW of Dutch Harbor but they are keeping their distance. Suspect they are hoping to catch a SCTF or large troop convoy. Not this time

Combined Betties from Adak and CVE/CVL based air hit a SCTF trying to get the damaged BBs out of Dutch harbor.

Heavies raid PM for no damage. They were set to 24k feet. This was more of a "Bomber Sweep" than an actual AB attack. Not much damage on either side. He lost a couple of Rufe and I lost a couple of heavies.
Heavies hit Adak again and do less damage to the AB but pick off 7 G4M on the ground
IJN CV Air tries to hit ships and Unmak again for no attacks as CAP chewed them up. Air Loss screen say 37 A6M and 9 Val were shot down. I believe the Val number and am halving the Zero number. No Kates this turn which makes me wonder how many were damage last turn. I am hoping this drives the CVTF off as I have work to do up here
New offensive in northern China near Paotow. This is a little concerning as there is very little to fight back with in this sector. Most Chinese units are immovable in this mod until displaced. Very little of interest up here anyway. A few resources and some light industry is all. Besides the attacking units, there is an additional unit looping around to the north. I do have almost 3000 free AV down near Sian. If he pushes very far up north, I may try to counter attack from the south to cut supplies
