Tom,
I've kinda lost track of the game date here. Many of the memo format entries had dates attached...

Sorry,
It's February 13th 1942
Looks like Singers will last a few days past historical, but with a much smaller bag of prisoners for the Japanese.
Right now my goal is to sink every Japanese ship within 120 miles of Malaya. That way even after the place does finally go the Japanese army will be trapped, because there will be no boats to take it anywhere. On the 13th surface vessels operating in Malaya waters sunk 13 Japanese vessels and damaged others.
Mandrake is working on suprises of his own in the South Pacific. He also has a very bloody air battle starting up over PM. 17 Wildcats went down yesterday, and not very many Zeros. He has been busy with other stuff so I am trying to keep the AAR up.
Bye Bye Aru Islands..say "origato"

The sooner they lose theirs, the faster they might get some real fighters.

I'm sure the pilots will be transitioning into Warhawks or something and stay and kick some Jap butt over OZ.

All that money the British taxpayers spent on big hunks of steel in the 1920's and 30's is finally put to some use.

I have a sick image of a metal Wirraway with the Shell logo on the side.

I love the battle map and excellent writing! Will Kortenaer make it?
More meat for "Mr Mitsubishi"'s grinder, I suppose. [;)]
