I've been watching a really nice lecture on the development of the U.S Navy from the Spanish-American War to the start of World War I.

Black Mirror .. I think the most relevant satire of our times.

Right now. News of the apparent terrorist killed or at least shot by police in the Belgian train station. Possibly wearing a suicide belt.
Last night I watched the season finale of Better Call Saul.

I discovered this production from... Tasmania!

Beside being set (and filmed on location) in a very interesting and unknown place (with an horrific history of colonisation behind it) the acting - exp. by the lead actress - is quite good, and the atmosphere totally "XFilish". I watched the first two episodes (out of eight), and I'm hooked. Let's hope that it doesn't flunks the end.

I stopped watching a few weeks back after a couple of lame episodes. This has given me the impetus to catch up on those I've missed [:)]

Fearless - starring Helen McCrory. A gritty crime thriller

Poldark - [&o]

I watched Valkyrie again yesterday. No idea to what extent it is a historical representation of the facts, but regardless, on second viewing it remains a thoroughly enjoyable film to watch.

Yet another film I haven't seen that I really must watch.

It's got a great supporting cast - Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Terence Stamp, and once again proving that comedians make great straight actors, Eddie Izzard - amongst others.
Amazing (terrible) luck that Hitler survived. Inadvertent moving of the bomb to behind a table leg I knew about - but forgot that the room had been changed too. This was critical as the conference was to be hosted in a room with no windows that would have exaggerated the blast. They moved the room - to one with windows - because it was too hot.

What episode (or portion of an episode) is the over / under (fnar fnar) for a seriously wanton display of naughty bits?
I'll say it's in the first 1/3 of episode 1. Any takers? And at what odds?

Do you mean beeeewwbs? Well there probably won't be much time for naughty bits once the white walkers roll into town, so yes, maybe they will get that in early (fnarr, fnarr).
