Indeed it is and Small Child MkI was not without his little moments of 'excitement'. Driving an hour on unsalted roads in the snow to visit the emergency surgeon in Oxford for a hernia operation was a particular highlight!

Mia didn't seem to settle for more than 30 minutes at a time [>:] Then Josh decided it was time to get up at 0730 when he shook me awake and threw some clothes at me. Nevermind, back to nursery for Josh today so we'll have time to catch up on some housework.

Good morning! It is a balmy 17F this morning, up 18 degrees from yesterday. All kinds of reports on the news of busted pipes showing up. Very typical with this kind of weather with the southern building codes around here. They don't build for this kind of cold or build infrastructure (water mains) to the depth to prevent them from freezing. A busted water main on a city street at 17F makes a great skating rink, but a poor surface to get traction on with a vehicle.
